This is my favorite restaurant, and with good reason. The food is absolutely spectacular. You cannot order wrong, and in my decade plus going to Tally Ho, I have tried just about everything on the menu. The service is just as great, and thats a testament to the quality ownership. Go try the chicken scarpiello, any of the steaks or chops, and be sure to get the house dressing on the salad (a really garlicky vinegarette.) Tally Ho is as good as it gets down the Shore. Of note:Google breaks reviews down into 4 component parts: - Food: awesome. The daily specials are worth always worth trying, too. Portions are huge and eminently share-able. Not that youll want to share of any of yours, because it. Will. Be. Fabulous. - Service: best Ive ever had. Seriously. - Atmosphere: comfortable, but certain a pub/inn. - Value: considering the quality and quantity of the food and the utterly terrific service, terrific.

Mediocre at best, I really dont understand how it has a 4 star average. The quality of the food does not justify the prices at all. My pasta fagiole was ok but my chicken had almost no flavor despite the pool of sauce it was in. My rice was pitifully bland, it wasnt even seasoned with salt or pepper or butter. Im not usually hard to please but the food was truly bad.

Working in this area and was driving around, found this place open early. Went in, talked to owner, had a Palm Amber on draught. Nice "traditional" type restaurant Id say. Had the filet mignon sandwich on a toasted garlic hoagie roll, w/ a side of the wonderfully kept secret "TallY Ho" sauce. Wonderful sandwich. Plan on stopping back often, very friendly place.

Glad we listened to a friend and visited Tally-Ho....it was great! Charming atmosphere, food was very good(large portions) , service was also great.Having a quick cocktail at the bar was fun.Well return, for sure!

I knew it was not going to be a good meal when order of onion rings came to the table burnt. How does one burn onion rings? The entire family agreed their entree was sub par. Way over priced for the value.
