I really wish I could give this restaurant zero stars, but the waiter was a nice and efficient but thats where it ends. My wife and two friends walked into this restaurant and there was a big party that was leaving. The owner or manager (I really wish I got his name because I would have called him out here) was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever seen in the restaurant business. He seemed like he was really pissed off at the world and/or on drugs. The hostess was luke warm and seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. This set the tone for the worst dinner I have ever had in a so-called nice restaurant. I ordered a chicken dish that was rolled up with a marsala sauce and it was the first time I ever tasted gamey or bad chicken. After one bite, I was done. The fried calamari I had as an appetizer was soggy and chewy to the point of being disgusting. I love calamari and I left that on the plate. To end this horrible dinner, I actually ordered New York Cheese Cake which was sour. It was hard to believe how bad this place was. Im glad someone bought me a gift certificate because if I would have paid full price for the gross food and nasty owner/manager, I would have been pissed. You have been warned!!!! Stay Away from II Sogno it is beyond horrible. P.S. the couple we went with and my wife all agreed how bad everything was.

Went there for a Christmas party last year with some co workers for a 4hour dinner and open bar Pedro was nice when he took my deposit but when it was time for the party the service was horrible the waiters where no where to be found and 5 people got terrible sick from food poising when I told Pedro the next day he told me I guess I better call my lawyer what kind of answer is that I would not eat at this place there are other Italian resterant said that are way better

I give this place three stars. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. Wine list is great. My problem is that the portions are very small for the price. 10 rigatoni for $25? Come on. Penne vodka with shrimp, 5 shrimp, $30? Come on. Great romantic date spot, but you will spend $100 for dinner and two drinks, no appetizer, and actually leave hungry.

I dine here with my family and friends consistently and I havent been disappointed in the slightest way. The food is fantastic from initial sit down starters to appetizers, entrees and desserts. If you like a friendly and courteous staff who remember you and treat new customers as regulars, this is the place for you.

Classic Italian food, decor, old time feel and great atmosphere reminiscent of years gone by. Its nice to know people still do things the old fashioned way. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a great experience and a feel good night out.
