I have been to quite a few Japanese restaurants for hibachi and Fuji is by far THE BEST!! You dont have to pick between noodles or rice - you get both at no extra charge! The staff is friendly, the chefs are entertaining and the price is reasonable. I have never had a bad experience there. I highly recommend trying Fuji even another hibachi place is closer to you. OH - the Fuji in Hazlet is not the same and definitely not as good. And one more note - Ive been to a few Japanese places where if you are with a group and some of you want sushi and some of you want hibachi - they wont seat you at a hibachi table unless everyone is getting hibachi - has caused me to walk out of a few places because you cant get hibachi at the regular tables..... dont ask me why. You wont find that at Fuji. :D

I ordered takeout. I got sushi with a side of rice,. I called and told them what I wanted, they were very nice and quick with my order. I walked in and all I had to do was pay, and they give me my food. The price was VERY reasonable, my sushi and rice came to 5 dollars. I got home and ate it and it was the best sushi I had ever had. The sushi tasted so fresh, same with the soy sauce. The white rice was the best, especially if you dip it in soy sauce. Overall, if you havent been there and you are looking for a good sushi place, this is the place to go!

Best hibachi ever! The food is too good its addicting to say the least. Byob saves you on the bill and there is a liquor store right next door which is awesome. Ive been averaging eating there once a week since its reopened. The new decor and layout is beautiful. If your eating at the hibachi grill ask for Jacky he gives you the best show and his food is the best trust me. Tip him well he deserves it. The whole staff is very nice especially my favorite waitress joyce, she is a real sweetheart. You will never leave here unfull or unhappy

Fuji has the best sushi around and great service. My family have been going here for more than a year and I have been a fan for their sushi! Even my friends from Huston love the food here! With beautifully designed, fresh fishes, they make the finest, freshest sushi I have ever had! The chef is so good and always has interesting and delicious specials. The plates just look like works of art, making it a wonderful experience for the stomach and the eyes. It is truly a relaxed, no rush atmosphere, I enjoy going there, so my family!!

Good sushi but the service was terrible. They took fifty, yes, FIFTY minutes to bring out 4 orders of sushi and 1 thai dish. We were served by two waitresses who did not communicate with each other resulting in our orders coming out wrong or incomplete, with one of the waitresses, at one point, ripping an open menu out of my hand when i was looking for something in it. Lastly, after wed already paid and left the tip in the book, the waitress had the gall to open it up and count, yes, COUNT the tips!

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a great sushi place since we have moved here. From the outside we didnt expect much.. but once we walked in we were surprised out at how cute the inside was. We had a great waitress and we were taken care of by the entire staff. They had a great selection on the menu and it was all amazing! They present everything beautifully and it is all super fresh. AND its BYOB! What else could you ask for?

Good food, ok prices. Their sushi specials are great prices though. I usually get the pre fix menu which is a lot of food for 18$. They also have a great selection here and are always very nice. They have a coupon online that you can print and bring to save a little money.

Went with my husband and daughter and asked for a hibachi table and was told no. If we want hibachi to come for dinner. On top of not letting us get a table they didnt have any specials because it was new years eve.. Wil never return here thanks to their rudeness.

Wow. I had never eaten here but heard such great things. Well they just reopened in the Trades Joes plaza and they are now top the list of my favorite sushi restaurants. Simply wonderful.
