The sushi is great, its fresh and nicely placed. I give it 3 stars because not start off I went in with my 7month old and i told the cashier I will be right back to order but I need to use the restroom first she just looked at me while I was talking to her and looked away. Then Im waiting by the door thinking someone is in the restroom and then I see a sign that says restroom only for customers who make a purchase and you need a key (not the exact wording of the sign) So I walk up to the cashier aggregated and ask her for the key which she hands me with a face. It would of been nice that she tells me I needed a key since she sees me with a baby! Instead of ignoring our initial conversation or what I told her when I walked in since she barely acknowledged me. Then as for the food I always ask for spicy mayo on the side and I make sure they are aware to please put it in my order even if they have to charge me. I mentioned it to the cashier as she was writing down my order and I noticed she didnt put it down, so I mentioned it again and she said okay. Once she gave me my order I mentioned it again, I thought she would get the hint that I wanted that spicy mayo on the side. I got home and noticed that it was missing and I called, her response was "well we give it for free so you just need to remind me when you give me your order" I said I did about 3-4 times and you still didnt put it in my order. She said "well since its free you can come back" I said I live in Newark so thats not going to happen. Next time wright things down and pay attention to your customers!!!

Ordered for delivery using UberEats. Our order was missing one of the bubble teas. The two bubble teas we did receive didnt taste too good. The coffee bubble tea had the strongest taste to it. I cant find the word to describe it but it was basically unpleasant. The taro bubble tea was so bland. It wasnt even a shade of purple. The beef teriyaki was okay. Tender beef and tasted good. The sushi tasted good. The only set back was with the shrimp tempura roll. It arrived and had eel sauce and spicy mayo on top. I personally dont mind it but we ordered it for someone who has sensitivity to spicy food. The menu didnt indicate that it was topped with any sauce. It would have been great to point that out so for those that cannot have spicy mayo would have been forewarned. The spider roll wasnt too great, it tasted a little too fishy for me. The EMT and Miami roll were pretty good, though. Would I order again? Probably, but not any time soon until they work out their kinks or at least reply to my complaint for forgetting one of my drinks.

This used to be my favorite place to eat for the price and portion size there was no beating it. But now that has all changed. In the past 3 visits the portion size has decreased so much. I thought they were just having a bad day the first time and the second time they were a bit busy so maybe that why they cut my portion size. Keep in mind I always order the same order of double meat with white rice only. This last bust was the final straw I came in half an hour after opening time with only one customer before me. I again ordered my usual order and this had to be the smallest portion size of chicken I have ever received. Im sad that this place has become like this because now it not worth the money. Another place brought down by diminishing portion sizes.

First time totally disapoonted. I been to this place earlier a lot of times.as its my one of the favaorite food servering restaurant. I got poor quality food "brown rice with shrimp and chicken" at around 12.30 and belief me i start getting bad digestion signs and finally vommited at 3 pm and got relief..Not aspectedfrom you guys. the caretaker can put restaurants in a big trouble. Only message to a owner that Boss take care whz going wrong?

Mishka review is too biased. She works in interior design so shes just being bitchy. Dont expect an over-the-top decorated place... its a clean and spacious -what else do you need? Its an Americanized Japanese chain restaurant. The food is VERY good (not perfect.. but you shouldnt expect perfect Japanese food in the US...)

Will remain one star until you update your website to accurately reflect order pricing. Ive ordered twice in a row with the confirmation saying one price only to be charged 10% more when I picked up the order. 3.31.17 Update: now they dont even get or complete online orders. Stay away from this place. Waste of space.

Great food but ashamed that they have such awful staff. I called to place an order and the staff was being very rude and disrespectful. Never coming to this location again. I rather drive 2 hours away to go to another Sakura Japan than to this one.

DONT! You should not order from here! They have terrible customer service, they got all of our order wrong, and they took at least 40 minutes to deliver when they are about 10 minutes away. I say buyers beware!
