I went to Ashiya for the first time during the holidays. I went with my boyfriend and his family and I used a gift certificate that a friend had given us as a Christmas gift. The food was good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and casual. But when it came time for our check, we were doubly penalized for using our gift certificate. 1) They said since we used the G.C., we could not use our credit card to pay for the balance and could only use cash. Not expected, but fine. But, 2) we gave cash and expected some change and never got it. After we sat there quietly to see if they would come back with the change (keeping the change gave them more than a 20% tip) the waitress walked to the front of the restaurant and shut off the lights as if to say not so subtlely "get out now". Hmmm. What happened to "do you need change?" or "are you all set?" before walking away with a customers money?

I have never ordered from here before so it was my first time getting delivered. The delivery guy was rude when i didnt give him enough tip and told me next time pick it up. I ordered $30.00 worth of food by the way. The food was great but service sucks! Because of this guy I will not be ordering from here anymore.

Absolutely never again. Im a 18 year old girl with a less then minimum wage job. so Im sorry if your disappointed with a tip i didnt have in the first place extremely rude to suck youre teth and walk away shaking your head. a tip is called a tip for a reason its a bonus..wow.

i order from them a few times a week, their food is always fresh, gets delivered hot and you will eat it to the last bite. MetroHonda Thanks you guys for keepin us fed daily with wholesome healthy choices. Love the sushi and obento boxes!!!!

Sushi thats cheap and doesnt me to the bathroom is fantastic! The service is okay, i always feel like theyre rushing me...but whatever i still eat there.
