This is my second visit. My husband and I drove from southern NJ, Exit 5 on the turnpike. We went to celebrate my sisters birthday - a group of nine (9). Marcos always serves us. What a wonderful gentleman and a great person, hard worker. The food is always Great! very reasonable .... Everyone at the diner always very kind and personable. My husbands first time there and he LOVED it! If we lived closer we would definitely eat there regularly. My sisters go all the time since they leave closer, Hudson, Passaic and Bergen county. We will be back... cant WAIT !

Had dinner here a few days ago - pork chops with sautéed string beans, mashed potatoes, a cup of soup, a trip to the salad bar and a drink for a price that was fair, particularly since I really enjoyed the food. The waitress - Katerina, if I remember her name right - was friendly and attentive without overdoing it. I would recommend this place.

The food was delicious. Many choices. I had a hot turkey open faced sandwich. Very fresh and generous portion. My husband had their special breakfast. Both of us were very pleased. The staff is great. Friendly and helpful. Our waitress was the best. The diner and restroom very clean. Look forward to a return trip.

A couple of my friends and I were rudely approached by a server while leaving the diner because we forgot to leave a tip. This server was disrespectful and it should not be mandatory to leave tips. She couldve better approached my friends and I appropriately rather than just being rude and leaving before we could apologize.

Probably one of the best diners Ive eaten at in the Montclair area. Im not a fan of the Montclair places, theyre just okay. I pass this place all the time and stopped in on a Sunday morning (9:30am)... no wait and really good food. It wasnt the same old diner prepared breakfast. Cant wait to try other meals!

A group of us went to have dinner at the Caldwell Diner last evening and the waitress was very rude. We complained to the manager/owner who wasnt concerned about our complaint and told us that she always defends her employees. We left and wont return.

This was my first time here and it was amazing! The food was good, the portions were great and the staff was very polite and attentive. This is on my list of top 5 places to go eat....great diner!

The waitress we had needs a new job. She was rude and abrupt. We told the owner who we love and then she was a bit more cordial. Food is awesome here and at the Tavern 292 that they also own!!!
