Went for a 50th birthday dinner with high hopes. Had done my homework and read the reviews. Unfortunately Im thinking the people writing the reviews were newcomers to Italian cuisine ???? We had a soggy pizza, they sent out the wrong calamari appetizer, we said OK and tried to eat it but it was oversalted . Ravioli was less than done, actually the pasta dough tasted like leather, come on guys, cook the ravioli until it floats !! Pear salad was just that, a thinly sliced pear with again, way too much salt, and a few flakes of cheese, the antithesis of the menu description. Best part of this meal was the bread and hummus-like dip. Even the Pellagrino bottled water was flat....... To sum it up, a colossal failure costing over $100 for a few munchies. Ill give it a "C+" at best.... Maybe Im spoiled , but Id much rather have anything coming out of my Sicilian mother in-laws kitchen !!! Went elsewhere for dessert.....Spend your $100 elsewhere. It will definitely be a memorable "50th" birthday dinner :(

As a recent immigrant to the area from Manhattan, I am happy to report Ive found this great, fun restaurant in a sea of establishments using young untrained staff to serve their mundane food and phoned-in wine selections. Ive been enjoying Undicis wine list, both by the glass and deeper into their bottle offerings for about 5 months now and Im yet to have anything close to a bad experience. If I have one complaint its that I would feel a lot better about this place if theyd teach the staff how to pronounce the word "undici". Its the Italian word for the number eleven and its OON-dee-chee, not oon-DEE-chee. The staff has actually corrected me on this on the phone and its kind of like an ice pick in my ears when I hear them say it wrong, which they do every single time. Weird.

Went to to dinner last night. Fixed menu entrees were worse than cafeteria food. Parts of the entree were hot and cold much the same as when food gets microwaved. Had to ask the waiter for water over 4 times and additional bread all the time. The owner or manager came over after other people complained about the cold entrees and asked if there was anything he could do. When food comes out terrible it is the responsibility of the owner/manager to take the food away and prepare new food. That was not done. Air conditioning was turned on and off all night when in fact the restaurant never needed to have the a/c turned on. The positives were the Caesar salad and personal pizza. It was also very pricey for the terrible food. You will never see me in this place again.

I went here with my boyfriend for dinner. We had a reservation for Saturday night and the place was packed! We had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated in the back room of the restaurant which was much quieter than the room with the bar. We got the stuffed artichokes to start, the original pizza and the gnocchi to split for our main course and the chocolate torte with the polenta crust for dessert--all of the dishes were fresh, served hot, and well flavored. The house wine was also tasty and fresh and I was very impressed with the entire, extensive wine menu. Friendly and helpful service and beautiful atmosphere. Will go back!

Omg is for openers! The food is seriously over the top. We drive hours for good food and coming from manalapan and having no good food near us , we finally found a spot that we will call our regular place. The appetizer was their pizza and it was amazing , all fresh and the dough was awesome !! We ordered the bolognese and the Bronzino and both were 5 stars. Drinks were spot on and Laura ou waitress was amazing and nice and helpful and the manager came by numerous times to check on us! This is the way a restaurant should be run and I am so happy to have found this place ! Cant wait to come back !! Enjoy !!

This is one of the best restaurants in the area, and certainly one of my favorites of all time. Incredible food, impeccable service, and authentic atmosphere. The absolute best wine selection Ive ever seen. The hostesses were delightful and seated us almost instantly. The servers are friendly, attentive, professional, and have a tremendous knowledge of the offerings of the restaurant. We saw the managers circulating and giving individual attention to each table, ensuring that customers are enjoying their experience. A truly refined culinary experience. We loved every second of it.

I have to admit that I am pretty impressed with the high ratings people gave this restaurant. Apparently theyre not that many decent local alternatives to this restaurant! The ambience in general was magnificent and the service was very good We ordered a delicious bottle of Pinot Grigio for a very affordable $35. From there things went south. The bread was chewey and the bean paste they give you with it felt more like cream cheese than bean paste. We ordered a mushroom pizza that was a little bit too chewey. The Genovese gnocchi was average. We did not have dessert or coffee.

Adding this establishment to the regular dinner rotation! Food was excellent. Caesar salad amongst the best Ive had in recent memory. The Bolognese was exceptional. And this from a reviewer who avoids Italian food like the plague after having discovered Thai, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, and just about any other cuisine more interesting and flavorful than passe Italian...with one notable exception.....Undicis!!!! Bravo!!!! Te voglio bene assai.

Made reservations for restaurant week and would definitely return for special occasions (was a bit on the pricier side for me and would not be able to regularly patron). The service was almost uncomfortably good, the recommended wine was exactly what we were looking for (we asked for help after being overwhelmed by the wine book), the food was perfectly cooked and very delicious, and the atmosphere is completely charming and inviting.

Absolutely amazing place to dine from any perspective. The selection of wine is probably one othe largest in NJ if not the largest. The interior is like nothing else, so warm and cozy and rustic. Service is quick and efficient and very good. The food is amazing and everything is very fresh. The octopus here is one of the best I had, and the desserts are awesome. Worth every penny and highly recommended.

Save your money and go to Olive Garden. Olive Garden is actually much better. The bread was served cold, the Cesar Salad was basically Romaine lettuce with an anchovie, olive oil, and cheese, and the Pasta dish was nothing to write home about. When a pasta dish is 30$ it should be amazing, not mediocre. The staff was great though .Very disappointed with this place and will definitely not come again.

To the decor, atmosphere, and food there is nothing not to love about this wonderful restraunt. Undici has a very beautiful decor inside and outside. I can see the amount of money put into the restraunt. The restraunt has fresh and excellent food. Undici is a very nice place and the food there is outstanding. I recommend this place for anyone looking to have amazing food.

Not expensive at all if you travel out of the 2 River Area and compare. The Pinot noir for $8 a glass was sumptuous. Not to be missed. The bar is a difficult place to leave. The stools are the most comfortable ones Ive ever set in. Not kidding. It doesnt hurt to have handsome wait staff either. Anatoliy the manager sets the bar high.
