Our son and fiancé have just selected Monteverde for their wedding next year. A great choice! We’ve been to many functions and always enjoyed the fantastic view, great food and courteous staff. Before dinner, the bar is a great place to meet. I enjoy the fine liquors, but my wife enjoys the innovative cocktails. Sometimes we just walk out onto the deck overlooking the river and enjoy the view. The food has always been outstanding, and matched with a knowledgeable staff…always a good experience. We look forward to our next dinner and, of course, the wedding next year. ______ Previous post - We have greatly enjoyed the food and experience. Great view. The food was unique and outstanding, and the service matched! The bartender made special concoctions that pleased everyone. We highly recommend this experience.

Breathtaking views of the Hudson and Bear Mt. combined with an elegant setting. Such a beautiful and magical place! Gorgeous well kept grounds all around. Had a stellar dinner, very attentive staff. Ray the manager, a very gracious gentleman, gave us the royal treatment and some very interesting history about the place.He also is very knowledgeable about the wines served. I highly recommend this heavenly place for dining or any kind of wedding or affair you may have in mind, it is the perfect place to be! Definitely worth the drive from CT.!!

While the grounds are beautiful and the food is good, the portions are ridiculously small for the prices you pay. In addition, the service left much to be desired. It took them over 30 minutes just to get us drinks and then made many mistakes with our food orders. We were hoping desserts would make up for it, but those were fair and again the portions were miniature . Wont be returning here!

Cant beat the views and the location. The staff was very friendly and the bar was spacious and quiet - which I prefer to the bars with over-noisy crowds and TVs blaring. We could all actually carry on a wonderful conversation. Planning on trying out the dinner menu soon too.

Although a gorgeous spot with beautiful views - this was $200 not well spent - there were 3 of us and only 1 cocktail. We did the Tapas on the patio - nothing to write home about. The service was slow...and the waiter not friendly. Last time Ill be going here.

Very nice place. The food was delicious, small portions though. The facility and the whole property are gorgeous, very romantic. My wife and I were impressed with the river view and scenery.

Was here to work, for the record. On-site staff was unhelpful and fairly rude/obstructive. Hopefully theyre better to guests than to the help hired to work their venue.
