Id really say 3.5 stars. Make sure to approach from Cincinnati Ave, which is a one-way street, to enter the diners back parking lot. Otherwise, parking can be tough on busy Arnold Ave in summer/tourist season. The food was okay, but service wasnt good. The waitress was very slow in checking in with us, empty glasses sat for quite a while, even though it wasnt that busy. The staff were mostly huddled together talking with each other and one or two local yokels. A woman sitting near us had to send her fish back because it was bad. The waitress agreed and apologized, so be careful there. Food was okay, typical diner fare.

Even in the dead of the winter with only 3 other parties the wait is still terrible. Dont bother in the summer when the capacity is too much for them to handle because you will wait 20 minutes for a waitress to even come over to you and ask you what you would like to drink. 90% of the waiters are under the age of 16 and do not know what they are doing. The food is good, but after starving for an hour an a half I guess anything tastes good at that point.

We have been eating breakfast here for 10 +years. We love it because it is VERY CLEAN !!!! Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere..(.I am a traveler that once seated in look up....if I see dust or grease I will leave ) The food is plentiful and VERY GOOD. Reasonable price....we often see the same staff Summer after Summer. The grandkids ask to go there every year. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

This is a pleasant diner situated just across the street from the Point Pleasant Train Station. I did not actually dine however I did have an unsweetened iced tea. It was tasty; I was a little surprised that it was $2.75 however I guess I dont go out enough to know that perhaps this is the average price for a beverage? The people there seemed to be very nice so I left a $1. tip.

Goes back maybe fourty years with many name changes, but right at your table your kids can watch the TRAINS go by. So close you can feel and hear the train coming and going. Older now, I still get a little tingle at the sound of the trains WHISTLE. Real shore town atmosphere just down the street from Baines Hardware. Another fascinating wall to visit after you eat.

This diner is located in the heart of point pleasant beach. Kids get to watch the trains go by as we relax and eat. The menu is full of fresh and homemade options. Friendly staff & the owner is always there working hard. Weekends tend to be busy, (Expected) but we dont mind waiting because we are always sitting with a full cup of coffee & friendly conversation.

Kids serving food. No experience. Food came out luke warm. Coffee was not fresh or hot. My order came out incorrectly. Very disappointed....Only customer in the restaurant....waitress asked me how was the food at the end rather than early on. Also, wait for food was too long...

Apparently help needs training and cook must have changed from last year to now(Aug 2017) as food was not up to last years standards and help was slow and inefficient. Where as before we made this a breakfast priority.... not so much now.

Waitress was good but the wait for food was terrible. 45 minutes for eggs? The omlet was disgusting my boyfriend was eating and mine was all potatoes on an egg sandwich? Never going back!
