The menu looked great. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, Pastrami Benedict and a Breakfast Burger -Rare. After 1 or 2 tables in our section left, we realized that the infomercial that was playing on TV had the sound on, just enough to be distracting . The staff was nice enough to change it to QVC and turn the sound down. Then the food came out. Pancakes look kind of small but good, Benedict looks good. Breakfast Burrito looked good, but its not what we ordered. No worries, theres plenty of food here, just bring the burger when its ready. So we dig in, the Benedict was pretty good, it would have been better if it was hot. The Pancakes had that crust on top that comes from sitting in a heat lamp. That was only odd because they were lukewarm as well. Anyway we hadnt eaten all day and it was after noon. We ate all of that and still no burger. The owner came around and said hi to a couple of tables that he knew, I tried to get his attention, but was unsuccessful. We waited another 5 minutes. Finally, I got up to find someone and saw my waitress. I just told her to forget the burger.

We came for the first time and had dessert and coffee.The cakes were dry. I ordered decaf and since it was slow at the time I assumed the coffee had been sitting awhile. It had..but I drank it anyway. Most diners I have been to will make a fresh pot for you. When I asked for a second cup (waitress did not bother to check and see if I wanted more coffee), she brings the pot over, hovers it over my cup about to pour it, but before she pours she says "If you want more after this, I can make a fresh pot", When I replied no, she poured me the remainder of the old coffee. Really??? What would it have cost the owner to brew a fresh pot--50 cents? a dollar?? How insulting that I was not worthy of a fresh pot of coffee unless I finished the old pot first. It continues to amaze me that business owners do not understand these small gestures of good customer service that cost pennies to do. It costs them more to have dissatisfied customers go tell others not to go there. And the owner was there--I was going to say something to him but I was just too shocked. Wont go back.

My husband and I go here regularly. Casual diner with good, reasonably priced food. The soups are home made and excellent. Also make sure to Check out the daily specials. And on Tuesdays, my favorite, is "Taco Night."

Food was good but not quite what we ordered. Ordered pepper n egg omelet got NO peppers but got cheese ordered pork roll n egg sandwich got cheese on it ! Oh well first time there will have to think about a second !

I had the portobello panini, and jalapeno poppers for appetizer. All the ingredients tasted really fresh, and I appreciate a place that has more than one vegetarian dish available.

Fantastic! Its under new ownership and Daiana and José are the best. We followed them here from their previous location. In Bradley Beach. We love it every time we come here.
