Wards cookies are GREAT, if you like to eat cardboard. I spent $20 on cookies today, two large chocolate chip cookies, and a quarter pound of butter cookies. The butter was most likely a cold stick of butter waved over the batter, and then returned to the refrigerator where it will remain until the next batch. Its really hard to screw up chocolate chip cookies, but Wards even managed to do that. The chocolate chips tasted just fine; the rest of the cookie was inedible. If youre ever tempted to buy cookies there, do yourself and your wallet an enormous favor, and get Pepperidge Farm cookies or Entenmanns instead.

We have to have donuts and breakfast pastry where ever we go when on vacation. We found Wards a few years ago and loved it! Just revisited Wards on our 2015 vacation and had donuts and sticky buns that beat any place weve been! If you are in Ocean City this is the place to go for the finest, freshest pastry you have ever had. I live in Philly suburbs and would consider driving down to get the donuts and sticky buns (and everything else)!

Been going for as far as I can remember of my 41 years, and will keep going for another 40! Iced crumb cake is the best - call ahead in the morning to reserve one if youre not an early riser- and the butter cookies and soft and fresh and awesome. And of course the collection of cookie hard was always a favorite to look at as a kid-and now! :)

I got an oatmeal cookie from here which was good and the very unique scrapple pie which was, well, unique. I thought it was good personally, but it didnt blow me away. Scrapple should be a bit more firm and not as completely soft. We also got a simple cake from here which was good, but also didnt blow me away.

Go here for their fresh doughnuts. Its always impressive when the filling is 80% of the doughnut, unlike the Dunkin a few blocks away. And its rare to actually have an apple fritter done so right, with an excellent combination of just the right texture and sweetness. Only takes cash, btw.

Amazing donuts! I found them right off the board walk as a fluke when my 2 little boys decided that 5:45 would be a good time to wake up and we went for a walk. $15 for a dozen donuts is frankly a little much, but they were so good this will become a yearly stop for me and my family.

I stopped to try the scrapple pie that I had seen in a local advertisement. I saw the bacon cinnamon rolls and had to buy those also. They were fantastic! I would never think that scrapple would make a pie and be that good. If youre in the area, stop and give it a try.

Im sorry, I was very disappointed with my granddaughters birthday cake, the chocolate cake was so dry it actually crumbled & the under the sea theme wasnt completed no sand no water. Expected much more.

This is an example of old fashion goodness and the fried cinnamon roll are amazing! The staff are curtious and helpful, but because of the high demand for their pastries you may experience a wait.
