Browns is as good as it gets on the boardwalk in OC. The wait for breakfast is rather lengthy but it goes to show the quality of the restaurant. Dont know where people on here giving reviews think theyll get into a restaurant without one on the island this time of year but thats just me! Staff is so friendly. You are greeted by multiple people when you arrive and walk out to multiple good byes and have a great day when you leave. Donuts are great too, my favorite are the vanilla and now you can ask for cinnamon on top! Yes it is a cash only place but 90% of OCNJ business are and they also have an ATM so no complaints here! Seriously browns is an awesome family run buisness who knows how to make people come back for more. Happy summer 2017!

Browns restaurant is known for having the best donuts in New Jersey but if you go... try to go in the restaurant itself not the take out window... it goes faster that way. The wait also goes faster if you go to the counter seating if you have 3 or less people. WARNING: DO NOT EAT DONUTS COLD! They taste terrible if you wait too long to eat them, theyre better fresh. Other than the donuts the food is your average breakfast... one of the better dishes is the pork roll with cheese... freshly made on an english muffin! THIS IS THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE ON THE BOARDWALK! (I recommend the cinnamon donuts!) THE WAIT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT CAUSE THE DONUTS WILL BE THE BEST YOU EVER HAD!

Great donuts. I have a theory on why theyre so good. Their recipe is nothing extraordinary, its from a mix. But, because so many people love their donuts and there is a long line, your donuts that you purchase are always fresh from the fryer. Because theyre fresh, they have an amazing texture and are warm and delicious. Theyre slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Ive tried Oves, and I bet that while theyre the same recipe and mix, there is no line, therefore its not fresh fried, and isnt that amazing texture. Not the same as Browns! I am going there right now, standing in line, and then eating half the box before I get back!

best Donuts Ever!!!!!!!!!! these donuts are sooo good i go to ocnj for a week everyu summer(best week of my life each time) and every one of the 5 years i went when i was old enough to know things (9-14 is when we started recently going yearly) i woke up every morning with my cousins and waited in line for a half hour to an hour for a half dozen of these best fresh but still good if not by far best donuts ever no other donut comes close and they make put dunkin donuts in the trash

The donuts are a must when in OCNJ! Expect to wait in line for them, but its worth the wait. I try to get there before they open (7am) to cut down wait time. Chocolate glaze and honey glaze are my favorites. Theres nothing like a fresh Browns donut piping-hot from the fryer! Eat them fast, because they definitely lose some of their magic once they cool down. Most people dont need to be told to eat them fast, however. Rather, slow down and savor the flavor!

The donut you know you are going to go walk down there for! Almost a crispy outside with good texture. So fresh and so hot! OC NJ has a few fresh donut shops -- Browns and Fractured Prune are on top. Sit at the counter and grab a cup of coffee! $8.23 for 4 donuts - 2 coffee - glass of ice cold milk -- served with a smile. Honestly this is the deal of a lifetime!

Best donuts on the boardwalk! Unfortunately I didnt get to try any this trip since they closed way before there closing time.. Walked all the way from the south side of the boardwalk and drove from atlantic city just for the donuts only to be turned away at 4:30 since they were closed even though the time says 5.. Saw multiple other familys turned away as well.

Ive been coming Ocean City for over 40 years and I think Ive eaten here once or twice. Its that kind of a place where you can go and get decent food but nothing says hey youve got to go back. I dont understand the line for donuts when you can go a few blocks down and get pretty much the same Donuts at another restaurant on the boardwalk.

Was not impressed. Wasnt very busy and took awhile to get fries, a cheeseburger, and a cheese steak. After getting back to my spot on the beach found the burger to be not cooked in the middle. Took it back and they they offered to remake it. Second was just as uncooked in the center as well. I gave up and tossed it out. Wont be back.

Fast, friendly service. The place seemed clean. Average burger with a big price. Tiny milkshake was a expensive and a disappointment. Good fries. If they changed their prices by a third, I would give them a great review. Prices were my main issue.

Stopped here for doughnuts for the first time and they were very good. They are made to order fresh right before your eyes! I recommend the cinnamon sugar and powered sugar. Will definitely make it a stop every time i visit.

Browns donuts are a must if youre at the shore with the family. Theyre made fresh right there at the pickup window and are typically are literally hot off the press when you pick them up - eat one before you get back home!

I love their donuts, which are homemade right on the spot out of their dipping and dunking gadgets. The restaurant has seating for breakfast and a bar area. Great location at tip of the boardwalks north end.

Solid american food is served here, but the real draw are Browns freshly made donuts. Their super tasty cake donuts are made to order, but youll generally have to wait in line 15 min. or more to get them.

Dunkin Dounuts looks small. This place is 5 stars plus. I liked it so much I got a t-. The only thing I dont like is where it is,you have to go a long distance just to get there. Anthony From Delaware.

The Browns special had too much cheese and the bacon tasted like fried bacon bits....not really bacon. The Texas toast was a normal slice of bread. Would only go back for donuts.

Best home made Donuts in the world. I go to Browns every chance I can and I have been going since I was a little girl. Great place to eat on the boardwalk.
