I cant shake it. I feel like someone stole my wallet. Went to Bill Burr show at the NJ Pac. Had reservations with my wife and 4 sons before the show. I should have realized something was wrong as the show was sold out, but the restaurant was almost empty! So heres what you get. Cocktails are priced higher than the hottest restaurants in NYC, and they are measured ( so bring a flask or be prepared for a liquor bill thats higher than your mortgage payment) Prefix menu thats so limiting. Pick your appetizer? Sad that the most exciting thing is grilled asparagus!!! Or try the shrimp cerviche which is served in this huge white plate that houses a half of one piece of shrimp cut into tiny, tiny pieces, sprinkled with POPCORN!! Main course- Lots of luck. Pasta, 2 of my sons ordered and sent it back. Hanger steak? Im still chewing it the morning after. Pick a desert. House special is Bombosso or something like that. What is it? Dunkin munchkins with chocolate sauce!! Check please- How much? $525 for the 6 of us and we could not wait for the show to end so we could go get something to eat. The pizza we got on the way home blew away anything on that menu!!. Oh, the bread is decent. The chef owner, Ryan is a pro!! What a waste of talent in this overpriced, disappointment of a "high end " restaurant!!!! NEVER , NEVER AGAIN!! Btw, google does not let you post a review with at least giving 1 star, so dont be fooled. I would give it minus 5 stars if I could. Im not a review person, but could not wait to get up this morning to tell the world what a disgusting rip off this place is!!

We were so disappointed tonite. We went there before a show at NJPAC. WE arrived at 5:45 and were told we had plenty of time for a 7:00 show. It was a Prixe Fix menu so the food should come quickly. It took 40 minutes for our appetizers- 2 cheese plates and 2 lobster bisques. The soup had no lobster in it and was very fishy tasting. The men didnt eat it. The cheese plates were ok not much cheese on it. We ordered 1 bottle of wine and the guys had a total of 6 beers. At 10 to 7 we said we could not wait any longer for our food. The manager and waiter had already both assured us several times the food would be out shortly. They gave me a bill for 134.82 for 1 bottle of wine, 6 beers, 2 cheese plates and 2 bowls of soup. As we were leaving we saw the dinners coming out of the kitchen. It was 6:55. We went to a show and were starving. I didnt want to give it even 1 star but I couldnt post without it.

This place is bad. It is your standard trapped-customer business. It is the only restaurant/bar located within the NJPAC building, so they dont need to put forth an honest effort since their customers are stuck, particularly if they arrived via light rail or train without a car. The watermelon soup was the highlight of the meal. The calamari, pasta and bronzini were all bad. To make the restaurant a complete farce, they only had 1 copy of the wine list (simple 8.5x11 sheet of paper which you could print 100 copies, if you were competent) on a Friday evening before a concert, so when you order your drink, they hand you the drink menu, but once you have ordered they need it back immediately to hand to the next table. At one point, the service disintegrated to the point where the maitre d had to stop seating and start clearing tables. Service is awful. This place is a joke.

We were seated at 6:50 PM. Couldnt get the attention of any of the servers who were deliberately ignoring us. At 7:12 PM we stopped one of the managers, who finally brought us some wine. He sent a server over who promptly told us shed be right back...she disappeared. We stopped another server and placed our order. We finally got our appetizers at 7:32 PM. The they rushed our entrees so we could make the 8 PM show. Food very average. We would have left the restaurant but there is literally no where else to go in the neighborhood. My advice is to dine elsewhere and just stop for a drink at the bar if youre there for a show. .

Went 3/18/16 Pre-fixe Menu. Not great. The Portions were small, the appetizer was miniscule, and the Main course consisted of 2 pieces of Duck about an 1 1/4 wide and 5" long. My chief complaint was the Duck was barely warm when it was served and once again we had to wait 8-10 minutes for our Wine which we asked to be served with dinner, which is the same problem we had last time we were there. They made the Wine complementary which was the right thing to do. But all said and done, I would sooner pay more and get a meal I can enjoy , and gladly pay for my wine and have served on time with Hot food.

A warm greeting from a server who knows my name, delicious food ending with mouthwatering flaky beignets with different seasonal fillings, all while seated in a comfortable booth gazing at the soaring, almost otherworldly beauty of the lobby. Thank you for a delicious meal that took me outside my everyday life for the price of a Hoboken diner.

Appetizers were good, the asparagus was the best. For the main courses the duck had a great flavor but could have been a bit more tender. The couscous with the demi glace was tasty. The Branzino was very good. The first two courses came out to the table fairly quickly however, the desserts took awhile. All in all not bad.

Packed show - everything was a little hectic on arrival beacuse of all of the show patrons. Prix Fixe menu - I woud have liked more choice Waiter was quite friendly. She got us through the courses with good choice and plenty of time to get to the show. Hint: We had a drink in bar after instead of fighting the traffic.

Nico and Maize possible joined with NJPAC, blatantly rip show patrons off during theater nights !!!!! Both are not that good in food flavor and both pull out this three course meal menu only during theater nights!!! This is Not NYC folks, stop ripping off your regular patrons !!!! Shame on you both !!!!

Conveniently located restaurant near NJPAC, with the looks and pomp of a fine dining restaurant, however, the food does not dazzle. 4 Stars for atmosphere, mood and formality. 3 Stars for the food - the part that really matters! $$-$$$

Was very surprised upon arriving. Very clean and modern. There is some road noise but that is expected as close to freeway as you are. Easy to get to airport. Restaurant was located in lobby and was very good for breakfast and dinner.
