The burgers are excellent if you come in the evenings. During the day, they tend to be dry and cold. The yummy burgers made us go there a few times, hoping that the abysmal service we got each and every time we were there was a one-off. The maitre ds are rude. The servers have no clue what theyre doing. And you will wait, for everything. Boy, will you wait! The final straw for us was when our check just wouldnt arrive after we were done and ready to leave for an important meeting. We waved at servers who hurried around looking straight ahead, did long waves, stood up, fast waves. But they have an assigned server system and others will not even look at you. Finally the one who was assigned to our table looked up, saw us waving and went back to what she was doing. I was done. I went up to the counter, paid and left, never to return.

Dont know what the big deal is. The fries were good quality, nice n crispy. I was VERY disappointed with the burger, especially when the place is touted as a gourmet burger joint. I got the Samburger, which overall was ok (not gourmet quality and not worth the $11). The burger tasted like it started as a frozen beef patty, not a fresh burger. I agree with a previous poster saying that there should be bun options. Maybe the whole wheat bun made my burger more disappointing. I will admit that the shakes were really good and the staff were friendly and on top of things. However, for all the hype Ive been hearing about this place, you can probably get a better burger elsewhere. FWIW, when I think of gourmet burgers, I think of a place like 5-Napkin Burger in NYC. Zinburger is definitely not on the same playing field.

This was my first time at a Zinburger and going into this evening my expectations were high. However my expectations were not nearly met. I ordered the "Zinburger" while it was nice and juicy, it lacked flavors. I could not taste the manchego cheese which is normally, by itself a very strong cheese. The order of loaded fries we received seemed to be very small. And the wine list that is supposed to be the trademark of the Zinburger brand was WAY overpriced for the list they had. There wins consisted of standard 10-17$ bottles of wine which they had priced at $30+ I was not impressed. Lastly there burger menu had no depth to it. They had no Elk patties, Bison... Just beef which, for the high end wine servings burger place this is supposed to be, left me unimpressed.

Giving 3 stars because the name and logo (Zin Burger) made me think this was a unique burger+wine pairing place, but its just a run-of-the-mill American burger place that happens to sell wine too. The burgers are good, not great, same goes for the milkshakes. Pricing is reasonable, the servers are very attentive. Unfortunately one of the 2 burgers we ordered was completely wrong (it was bleeding rare, not medium rare, and it was the wrong type of burger). Probably wont be going back anytime soon, too many other great places to try and repeat.

Our waitress, Gina, was excellent! She was very fast to take our food orders and the food was delivered quick and hot! My Zinburger (Kobe style of course) was literally one of the best burgers I ever had. I also ordered a Mule off of their $10 cocktail menu, which was tasty. Their Mac and cheese and a little bland and could have used a bit more flavor and cheese, but their Oreo Milkshake was very delicious! I would definitely recommend Zinburger to anyone looking to enjoy a cocktail or beer with an extremely well built and cooked burger!

I passed by Zinburger many times dismissing it skin to places like smash burger. Wrong idea entirely the ambiance is nice but very busy not for a quiet dining experience. I would say Im a burger expert having been to vast majority of the local burger joints. The burgers were exceptional I ordered a Kobe burger. The bun was buttery and soft thick burger Pattie and quality sauteed mushrooms. A bit pricey for my liking but worth the price. Also they have liquor thought Id mention.

Burger menu is pretty well developed, theres something for everybody but unfortunately the ones we tried werent very successful. The vegetarian burger is pretty close to inedible, but thats somewhat expected. The turkey burger is slightly more edible. The main burger though, was delicious. However, for $11-13 Id expect to at least get some sides, and their burgers come with nothing. Fries are charged separately. Beer is also overpriced. Not looking to come back anytime soon.

We had Dinner in your Durham Location on Monday night the 13th. The Service was below average. The server took our order right away as we requested the food came out timely. The server never followed up after delivering the food. The sweet potato fries and truffle fries were cold.We would have been happy to tell someone about it given the opportunity. With more Burger restaurants coming into the area you will have to do much better!

A great place to take someone who thinks Five Guys is bovine Valhalla because this is truly fine dining for burgers. It isnt every day youre in the mood for a Kobe beef burger with double truffle fries and a Madagascar Vanilla shake, paired with appropriate wines and Magic hat #9 on draft... but if you are, and want to eat in a clean, Ben & Jerrys themed space, here it is. Definitely not perfect, but well worth a visit.

The food is limited in scope, but what it does in its niche concept, it does well. The burgers are cooked well, and they have a good variety on cheeses and toppings. They have a fairly extensive beer and wine list, but not quite taphouse level. They also have some good shakes as well. It is a bit pricey though, considering the burgers do not come with fries, but still can be priced up to $16.

Had to see what the buzz was all about. Burger was just ok not any better than nearby jersey diner. I had bacon burger forget the name. Me and girl ordered zucchini fries and truffle and was disappointed by both. Both were saturated in grated cheese and soggy. Two drinks, two order fries, and two burgers 65 dollars with tip not worth it. Dont mind paying for good food but not for average

While Id rate their burgers as a 7/10, many of my friends think these are some of the best burgers you can buy. Pair that with what I think are some really good shakes (and a good variety of them), zuchini fries, truffle fries, and 1/2 off wine bottles on Wednesdays, its easy to have a great time here. They have a good happy hour menu as well (appetizers and drinks).

The place is really big inside and the ambience is open and inviting. The burgers were Good, but the menu was disappointingly uninspiring - not a lot of variety in burger options. Also, the bartenders were not very good. They were scattered and slow to deliver on service. I would give this place another try as the burger is very tasty.

If there is anybody out there who still falls for the bs, Kobe beef hamburger, then you deserve to have places like this take your money! You just dont know any better. NOBODY uses Kobe beef to make hamburgers! Nobody! Its just a shady way to separate you from your money! What do they say about a fool and his money.... Sip it!
