We happened on this place randomly when going home. Ill start by saying we had a toddler that was being finicky. We called ahead to ask if they had a high chair (they do) and to make a reservation within 7 minutes. They told us theyd have it ready and they did. We got to the restaurant and, as a first, the table was set with the high chair already in place. They quickly rearranged the place settings so he couldnt grab at things, and this basic attention to detail really struck us as we never see it elsewhere. So, service is great. The waitstaff was overwhelmed because there was only 1 waiter and 1 server to work the entire room. The experience didnt suffer. They worked very hard all night to be attentive and welcoming. Its clear they care about the experience as well as the food. We ordered the ossobuco which was lovely. We also ordered the flounder on a bed of crab meat which was also very nice. My toddler devoured the minestrone which was tasty but not greasy, and that made the rest of our night much better. Full-bellied toddlers are happy toddlers! Food is good, service is great. Definitely check this place out.

Wow! Went back in time to an old school classy Italian restraint. This place was amazing, greeted by a friendly staff and sat down to a classy table with white table clothes, cloth napkins, wine glasses, the whole nine yards! Service was exceptional and food was amazing. Price was very fair and reasonable. I enjoyed complimentary bread and bruschetta, amazing mushroom cake appetizer, and the crab stuffed ravioli. My wife enjoyed gnocchi. Great priced delicious drinks! This place takes you back to a time where old school service meets great homemade creative foods. It became a game for us to see if we could finish our drinks before they were refilled! Thank you La Fiamma for a delicious evening and awesome service, can not wait to go back!

Ive been coming here for years and this place has always delivered a nice, relaxing, and delicious meal. Its a quiet location, and nice for an afternoon snack or full lunch. I love hot foods, and the spicier items on the menu such as the Mysore Masala Dosa, or the Pondicherry Masala Dosa do not disappoint. Their coconut chutney cools your mouth right before the heat kicks in, and makes for a great hot/cold combination. One of the restaurants in Queens that I would personally recommend to anyone thats looking for something not as touristy.

LaFiama has some of the best Italian food in the area. In a previous life this location was Cifellis and was the gathering place for local businessmen to have some good food and cocktails and conduct their business. Its a small intimate lounge / restaurant setting with only about 5 tables and 5 booths. The food is very good Italian fare. You can expect attentive service and quality fare. The prices are moderate, expect about $30 a plate but the food is quite good.

AMAZING Food! The waiter was very informative, nice and attentive. The appetizers are great, I had the Octopus Salad & my S/O had the clams in wine sauce & it was great. For Entrees, I had the crab stuffed ravioli in vodka sauce & S/O had the bacon wrapped filet mignon in red wine sauce with vegetable: it was mind blowing. Deserts are great too. Would highly recommend for date night.

La Fiamma is a one of a kind gem. I have been around the globe and have eaten some of the worlds finest cuisine. This is one of them. The staff is genuine and knowledgeable, you have the freedom to order whatever you heart desires on (or off) menu! They know what you need and will kindly guide you to what they KNOW you will enjoy the most. Sit, listen, and ENJOY!!!

Authentic (and fantastic) food. We are from out of town and wanted a nice restaurant that wasnt fast food. La Fiamma is a hidden gem. I had the Fettuccine del Salmone and my wife had the homemade Gnocchi. Both were excellent. We finished off the meal with a nice slice of light cheesecake. The service was great as well.
