This place is such a treat!! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us all night, and the food was incredible. It was the perfect place for a dinner with my mom while she was visiting. We got the Rodizio, which was a STEAL compared to what you pay for an all-you-can-eat Brazilian Steakhouse in Manhattan, or anywhere for that matter. The flavors in the meats were like nothing Id ever had before, and they were brought out about every 5-10 minutes. This is a very laid back setting, with a strong cultural belief in not rushing the meal. If you asked the waiter to bring more food faster - he sent them by - but they give you some time to enjoy each dish. He also waited for us to ask for the check, which Ive also had happen in very authentic Italian and French restaurants. It was very classy! And even the salad bar that comes with the Rodizio had a strawberry salad, olives, and fresh parmasean cheese! But the setting of the restaurant, despite the elaborate food, was not pretentious. Gym shoes, t-shirts, and families were all around us. Would highly recommend this to anyone passing through, or living in the neighborhood.

I was there last night and I have never had such poor service in my life. The female bartenders were drinking with the customers and so was my waiter that instead of getting us the water we asked for, was having a shot with the people at the table in front of us. Im Brazilian and had my Dominican boyfriend and his cousins there at the restaurant and the food didnt look fresh at all . The person preparing the meat, was so unfriendly, like he was doing us a favor to serve us. The whole experience was so horrible!!!! PLEASE, dont waste your time and especially your money.

Ive been once at Casanova Grill, and I am coming back today, at Mothers Day 2013. I live 65 miles from there. I had a very good experience, for food was right, price was right. As for the parking space, we can use of our famous inventivity and look for one around the block. I will watch, though, this time, for the unheard of 15%surcharge they supposedly add to the bill without telling us.If they dont add it, we should tip the servers, if they do, they are just doing what they do in Brazil, since tipping down there is not a habit.

I seriously think the Ppl bashing Casanova here are competitors, especially the one saying the competitor is better, Because it is not dirty as said, food is really delicious, they have clams surprisingly amazing since is not Brazilian expertise. I do think is a lil overpriced, but so is everywhere else! Their caipirinha is really delish! I honestly dont think there is a 5 stars food experience in the Brazilian restaurants in Newark but it is worth a shot! 3.5

This restaurant is expensive. If you choose the rodizio menu choice the charge is $22.95 before you order any drinks. A Caipirinha is $7.00. And yet, the food is just OK. There is nothing special about a rodizio other than the experience. So bring your wallet full and watch for the bill at the end. They add, without ever asking you, a 15% table service surcharge. If you are not watchful you will end up paying tip on top of that.

If you are looking for the pub bar , this is the right place, but if you are looking for restaurant and rodizio they dont have any idea about it. I was there with my wife yesterday and the service is terrible. They took 30 minutes every time and ask for something. No matter what if was sangria, water, the check with your card. And the rodizio was same, a lot of chicken, pork and little of beef. Definitely I will never go back.

Check this out.. I order food a couple times from this place.. But today I got a surprise.. After a hour waiting for the food the driver came and had such an attitude.. I was giving a tip and the guy just tell me only that? For that keep it all... Well I will never order from this place ever again.. I will take my money and " small tip" for a place that appreciate it

You have to learn Portuguese to be truly accepted here, or at least not be white. Otherwise get ready to be treated as an outsider. Ive been coming here for over 3 years, but they still dont recognize me. Pretty lame, and insulting honestly. But hey, they can limit their audience all they want. Thats on them, and I guess theyre happy with it. Obrigado.

Casanova Grill is changing the landscape of Ferry St. Bar and Grill with an excellent selection of Brazilian foods, drinks and desserts. This is my best recommendation! Very reasonably priced menu. $16.95 Churrasquo (variety Brazilian style BBQ) on weekdays and 19.95 on weekends. Room for a group of 30 people upstairs and up to 80 people downstairs.

This diner gave us really comfortable time. We had the buffet here this good Friday. The Buffet was really good. They constantly filled up the food. There were several options for the budget. Besides, I compliment the Tiramisu. It was top notch. I like the live music they have. Want to come back next time for the Grill.

I almost get butterflies every time I know I am coming here and my Mom cant help but bring me every year on my birthday. The cuts are sweet and the meat is always cooked beautifully. The staff is mostly made up of Brazilians and I try and learn a little more Portuguese every time I come. They have a sweet deal 2 for $32.

We were a party of eight. From the start, service was attentive and friendly. The buffet was good with a wide selection. The Rodizio itself was excellent. All of the meats were delicious and very well seasoned. The decor was pleasant. The background music was not overly loud. It was a great atmosphere and a lot of fun.

This property was simply beautiful for my sisters wedding. We had the entire place to our selves. We occupied the bridal suite which was simply fabulous for any woman getting married. They served us breakfast and lunch while we were prepping for our makeup. Downstairs was the man cave for the Groom and his dudes.

Didnt get quality service when we first walked in. The staff seemed standoffish. Dont want to blame race but we were a group of four Black people and we were the only Black people in sight. When they realized that we were a civil group and had come to spend a good amount of money on Rodizio they were nicer.

This place was great!!! First off, the portions are comically large. Service was very friendly. The prices were really good for the metro area. The only negatives are no parking and the had the music a little loud (but they turned it down right away upon my request.)

Our first visit to Restaurant Lorenas has already inspired us to add it to our date night rotation. Our meal was divine, especially the Barramundi. The service was impeccable. The room was cozy and intimate. Perfection right in our neighborhood!
