I went with a friend on a Thursday lunch time (not crowded-) and we asked for an outside seating but were told that if we want to eat outside we have to settle for a seat where the sun is blastinglying hot - of course we said no thank you , but I saw that there were 2 other empty tables outside on the shady part so we asked if we can have that table but was told that we cant stay there because they dont have enough servers to wait on us over there. IT DOESNT make sense to me at all ,so I said we would just eat somewhere else but the hostess or manager said maybe we wouldnt mind eating near the side entrance , which isnt as nice as the front porch seating. So we did, which I now regret because the table was near the entrance door and people were going in and out - Bad experience with the sitting arrangement , but the food was good as usual ( Ive eaten there several times) and the waitress was very nice- but I dont like the attitude of the person who does the seating arrangement . We are in the process of buying a house in Lambertville but I am now having second thoughts of living there because if this awkward restaurant experience.

My husband and I walked into this restaurant thinking it looked like a nice place to have dinner. Being as today is the Fourth of July and we did not have reservations we expected to have to wait for a little while. When the hostess informed us that we were about to be seated, we went inside and she said our table would be ready in a moment. As we waited, we noticed her seating another couple that had put their name in after us. We didnt think much of it until we noticed her seating yet another couple who had come in after us. Both of these couples were a little older and, looking back, probably appeared to be more well-to-do than us. While my husband and I were dressed nicely for a dinner out, I feel that we were being discriminated for our age, or that perhaps they were assuming we might not spend as much money as these other people. After seating the two couples, the hostess ignored us and would not make eye contact. At that point I realized what was probably going on. We left and I feel extremely disappointed in how we were treated. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I stopped in here last night after our first trip to New Hope / Lambertville. We were seated outside on the patio (so nice) and couldnt believe the quality of the vegan/vegetarian options on the menu! This is a hidden gem for any vegan/vegetarian. They also have non-vegetarian options for hybrid couples :) My girlfriend ordered Pasta Primavera and I ordered the Tofu Eggplant Zorba along with the hummus platter. A++ all around! The food was great! Our server (I think his name was Christopher) and Tony (I think his name was? Sorry, bad with names) were both great and quick! Christopher was funny and very attentive. Highly recommended for anyone or any couple looking for a relaxing, nice, quiet and delicious meal in Lambertville! Only a one minute walk from the bridge. We will be here every time we come back!

"Delicious, fresh, local & organic foods at a great price!" Caffe Galleria has a mixed menu with plenty of options including fish, poultry & meat, but also offered a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Since my husband recently switched to a vegan diet we decided to give them a try, and I must say even I, (a meat lover) was happy! We started with their hummus for the table, I had the vegetarian chili over couscous, hubby ordered a black bean wrap, and our toddler got the macaroni and cheese. Everything was full of flavor, fresh and delicious. Their prices are fantastic, most of their dishes were priced at or around 10 bucks. The restaurant was nice and clean, and our server was friendly and attentive. I really could not have been happier with our experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant after a friend of ours brought us there. Situated in the cozy and interesting town of Lambertville, the decor is interesting and original, with touches of Italy. We were a group of 5 with different specific dietary requirements (some vegans, an omnivore, someone who eats gluten-free food and someone who eats seafood) but we were served respectfully and with lots of attention. The dishes I ordered (white bean soup, seitan with tomato sauce and brown rice) were exquisite. On top of that, my girlfriend was over the moon thanks to their vegan desserts. Well make sure to go back to this restaurant once we go back to New Jersey.

Our waiter was extremely rude to me, barely acknowledging I was there. He would come to our table and speak only to my husband, when he delivered our food after a very long wait, he says to my husband enjoy your entree and walks away.... So what? Should I not enjoy my food? I wish we had the younger waiter he seemed to be all about service. I ordered the Mediterranean salad which was so over loaded with kalamata olives that the entire salad tasted like a kalamata salad. Feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, even the onions, tastes like the olives. I could only eat a quarter of it and stopped. To be drenched with that taste is not too cool.

Caffe Galleria is a warm and inviting restaurant in the heart of Lambertville that serves vegetarian/vegan food and meat dishes too. Since Im vegan, I can only comment on their pure veg dishes, like the seitan and the tofu both of which are well seasoned and flavorful although I wish they had a bit more fresh vegetables. If you are hungry, their portions are generous -- I almost always take some home -- and the prices are moderate for the area. I love the rustic feel of the indoor area and the lovely garden/outdoor seating area provides a good spot for people watching or catching up with friends.

I have been there many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with family and friends. They have very creative dishes to suit any palette. They are flexible with gluten free preparations of dishes and the servers are very knowledgeable. There always seems to be something for everyone. The gelatos are FANTASTIC. The only better gelato Ive had around here is at the Bent Spoon in Princeton but they make their own gelato from local ingredients whereas Caffe Galleria has a supplier in Philly that makes their gelato. You wont be disappointed with Caffe Galleria!

Ive eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner, and take out dozens of times. Its the one place that is not corporate yet its consistent quality can be counted on each time I order my favorites. Quality food, quick and friendly service, and local relaxed dinning. Its like eating at home without having to do the work. FAVORITES: Tofu Eggplant Zorba, the house Omelette, and the Lizzy salad.

We must have ordered the wrong entrees....my wifes chicken dish was served with canned or jarred artichokes that overpowered the 3 seasoned, lackluster shrimp. My Meatball Parmesan was served with a lump of cheese and three dried out (from reheating) and cut up meatballs. Probably the worst meatballs Ive ever had out. Service was good. Ambiance was nice.

Loved the coziness of the café and the friendliness of the staff. Had the delicious squash soup and home made vodka sauce with bowtie pasta, broccoli and mushroom. To finish off the hazelnut stracciatella gelato. Everything was wonderful, even the home made green honey ginseng ice tea.
