I cant say one negative things about Brooklyn Square....as a matter of fact I always recommend this place. Great spot for locals but I love introducing my friends from out of town to this place as well. First of all THEE best square pie Ive had.... order the upside down pie (its square). Even better then L&Bs. I have to tell you I have not been disappointed with anybody the food here. I have to mention the zuppa di clams...PHENOMENAL!!!! If you love clams you have to try an order, you wont be disappointed. Its also a BYOB which is perfect. Also, the staff...nice, accommodating and even comical. I really enjoy coming here because you always feel welcomed. Pete the owner is such a nicr guy who sincerely loves his business...always comes to the table to say hello and really appreciates his customers. If you havent been here you have check it out.

The food is okay but service is absolutely horrific. Age discrimination is a Normality of this restaurant as they take advantage of the elderly. My grandmother is just one victim of these thieves. They take over an HOUR to deliver COLD PIZZA at an off hour, Showing NO RESPECT to the consumer and saying its TOO BAD. "It cant be cold, too bad(hangs up)". How can you treat your elders like this? Dont give this place business, Age discrimination is becoming a seriously prevalent problem in the modern era and These THIEVES could be the face of Age discrimination.

Food was awesome, service was great. I would have given it a 5 but the flies were out of control. Not one or two or three but at least 10. Constantly swatting the flies off our food and our heads. We were afraid they were going to fly into our mouths, thats how brazen they were. Come on management put some fly traps or something to stop these pesky pests. Again as far as the pizza and service, AWESOME!

Food was great, but the place had poor a/c in dining room; too uncomfortable to eat and enjoy. Also, very crowded at 5:30pm on Saturday night. Small place resulting in long wait for table. Had to sit outside in the sun and heat while waiting for table. And was charged more than the menu price for salads; waitress simply brushed it off when asked. Expected a good experience, but didnt get one.

Have only eaten here once but it was very good. We ordered the Brooklyn pizza, its really just a sicilian pie with more sauce on top. The sauce has very good flavor and the pizza itself it good. $20 for this pie, I feel its a good price for the amount of food. Very good place to order from and look forward to eating there again.

owner is a complete creep . Ripoff over priced and over rated . Do yourself a favor order a pizza from this place and forget that you ordered it , in about 2 hours you will here the bell ring and remembered you ordered your food . Then after that take the pizza and put it in the oven to heat it up because it always comes cold .

You have to tell the guy that NOW makes to the pizza to make sure the middle of the pie is not raw and the outside is not burnt. This pizza was the best pizza I have ever had in Jersey especially the Sicilian(at first). But whoever Petes letting cook the pizza now is messing it up for him big time! It is a shame.

The regular sliced round gourmet pizza was all tomato paste and some curd like cheese on it, with Basil sprinkled about, Didnt like it. My friend had an eggplant parm. sandwich, she said it must have been warmed in a microwave oven, it was hard, she left a lot of slivers of the parm on the plate. Never again!

I went in and asked for the best slice of pizza, and they sure gave it to me! The staff is excellent! Theyre so friendly, helpful, and personable. I felt like I was talking to family. If it was up to my belly, Id go right back to get another slice. WOW!

Spent 100 bucks on pizzas and entrees. The absolutely worst fettuccine Alfredo Ive ever had. Olive Garden tastes better. Meatballs taste like rubber dog toys. I used to spend a few bucks there, and sometimes the food was meh. Terrible. Never again

The Pizza dough is boring and thye pile toppings on top so you can barely taste anything. The chicken on top of my pie was cut into whole bite chunks, wait staff is nice but the pizza isnt anything to rave about.

Service was horrific. It was a race to get to our food before the 50 flies hovering on the ceiling. The pizza was swimming in olive oil. The bathrooms needed a "GOOD" cleaning. Would NEVER recommend.

Someone needs to tell that adding multiple giant cloves of whole garlic on everything doesnt make you meals and pizza good. Some items are almost inedible

Coming from New York it is hard to find good pizza in New Jersey. This place is a great alternative if you dont want to travel all the way into the city.

Not impressed at regular pizza was soggy and the grandma pizza was dried out and flavorless. The search goes on for good pizza in the area

This is a hidden gem, the pizza is outstanding. All I can say is you must try it, get the upside down for starters. Go now ....

The so-called upside-down pie is a poor imitation of the Trenton Tomato Pie. The owner is extremely rude. I will never go back.
