Jakes is split into a dining area and a bar area. The bar can get a little noisy at times but its alright and not too rowdy. The dining area is mostly quiet and has a nice atmosphere. The food here is very good and you really cant go wrong with just about anything on the menu. The steaks or the salmon are what I almost always order here. They never get it wrong... never. I think if I had to improve on anything it would more variety for the vegetable side orders. Also a pet peeve... try not to sit near the swinging kitchen door. Your conversation will be interrupted by it every 10 seconds. It can drive you nuts.

My parents live close to here and are regulars, for a reason. Went for Fathers Day late lunch and, as usual, they did not disappoint. The food is delicious, they know how to properly cook a steak [Jakes Steak] and their brownie ice cream dessert is the best ever. Their menu specials and selections are exquisite and their service is impeccable. Their hosts, waitstaff and bus people are all friendly and many are fun! ; ) From salads to entrées to desserts, they are exceptional. A higher end place with service and food to match. Delectable. ; )

Jakes is a fantastic spot. I think the Spotlight deserves to be shined on both the bartenders & waitress staff. They serve you attentively and with great personality. Be sure to check out the awesome artwork covering the walls all done by local artists.

Boneless wings that look and taste like real chicken, and one of the better Manhattans ive had in a while. Good staff, if they are packed you might wait a minute, but if you arent in a hurry they will take care of you and i think its worth it.

The hostess and our server were super nice. We were a party of 7 with 4 kids. The kids menu was good with lots of normal options. Food came out fast and was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend

Good menu, a bit too large, but the things we had were very well prepared. Friendly staff. It looks like just a bar from the outside, but its reasonably nice on the inside of the restaurant, no windows.

it smells like pee in there, and the food i ate had absolutely no taste. it was the simplest dish ever: chicken parmigiana. how did they mess it up??? never plan on going back again. not worth it.
