Sick immediately after eating food! Coconut shrimp on pathetic taco with weird white milk sauce over guacamole after eatting this I was violently sick! This was yesterday, Wednesday, July 19th, time we got there was around 7pm. This is so the owner can be alerted as to who was barely working! Additionally we waited one hour for horrible food. Plastic dirty tables (what happened to the nice pink table cloths that were clean? ) A tall big young blonde haired hostess (shes about 59") we asked for some bread or chips as we waited for 20 minutes for a beer she couldnt be bothered as she was hanging out with people she knew her age that were sitting at another table. This hostess was talking very loud saying how the kitchen only had 3 people in the back while all patrons looked at her completely annoyed and then everyone started complaining about waiting so long for drinks and food. Note there are a bunch of young kids that were supposed to be working but they just stand around not helping to get drinks. The owner is loosing money because these kids should be professionally trained, dressed, and getting drinks... Hello owner you are loosing money!! The owner needs to know this!!!! This used to have excellent service and great food. Now food is so bad it makes you sick! Give me a break $28.00 for my husbands dinner for three pathetic scallops on mushy risotto? Total bill came to $84.00. Waitress couldnt even get us a beer we had to remind the blonde big young hostess who had attitude! What happened to the professional staff that used to be here? The hostess wearing ripped black jean shorts with dangling threads, our waitress with all her piercings in her nostrils? The owner of this place needs to hire new manager and staff pronto!! This used to be a classy place but it isnt anymore! We will never go back! This used to be a favorite destination for many years now we will go elsewhere.

This restaurant has an excellent location on the riverfront with a large outdoor deck with tables, and it also has a beautiful front courtyard and entrance. Unfortunately, thats where the positives end. The tables outside are cheap plastic as another reviewer said. Our food took well over an hour to arrive (a steak dish and a burger), and was downright lousy. The steaks recipe was uninspired and the gravy tasted like it was 4 days old. We sent it back to the kitchen, paid for our drinks and left. Dont bother with this place. Ambience: 3/5 Service: 1/5 (mostly due to the kitchen, not the waiter) Food quality: 1/5 Prices: 3/5 (somewhat high, but not as bad as most of the other restaurants in this town)

Wonderful-great service, location and staff. Food was tasty, really good portion sizes. We all ended up with a doggie bag. We had the baby back ribs and the specials, garlic shrimp with pasta-huge! The apps were a whole meal. The food was a bit under-seasoned for me personally, but people can always add their own so this is not a bad thing. Gorgeous views. Dine out on the patio if the weather is nice. Indoors is very classy looking and nicely air-conditions in summer and I could see they have a gorgeous old fashioned wood burning stove for winter. Finally, dessert-bread pudding and the brownie were excellent, especially the brownie. IF you like them moist and molten, it is worth every calorie!

This lousy restaurant served me fish tacos that were the worst fish tacos I have ever had. I am from California and I find people in PA incapable of making a decent taco much less a fish taco. The two tacos for 13 dollars had taco shells that were not cooked! They took them right out of the bag!! I was so mad I couldnt see straight when the waitress said, "Oh, I see you finished them so they must have been good!" She was a dolt. When everyone else is eating, the last thing one wants to do is send back for a new meal. Dont get any of the fish tacos. They are lousy.

Generally I dont write bad reviews but this experience warranted one. To start, the drinks were very small portions. My IPA was probably 6 to 8 oz at most, not worth the 7 dollars. My wifes sangria (which was subpar, small portioned, and came with only a small orange garnish, and cost $9). For the meal, not only did I get the wrong meal at first, but when they brought out "the right meal" it was still wrong. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will not go back again.

First time here today. Hostess girls were nice. Some other waiters behaved also nice, but our waiter was almost rude, not explaining anything and never smiling. We ordered shrimp tacos without the cilantro sauce. It was very very bad, dry, no taste, a shame for any cook getting this thing out of the kitchen. Avoid this restaurant, its unlikely they will have any decent food, they only have a nice view of the river.

We got the most unfriendly server in town. We were with a minor, first time in town. Stopped just for a couple of drinks. Maître d graciously took us to a table, even when we explained it was only for a couple of drinks. Waitress kicked us from the table and send us to seat in a garden area, looking like someones unkempt backyard, full of birds poop. To many options in town or across, I would never even consider.

Super delicious food, this was my third visit and the best thus far. Came with friends who hadnt been after a day of tubing on the river and they were super impressed with the location on the water but most importantly the food was phenomenal. The last time I went it was ok, not super impressed but this time was completely different. Highly recommend. Sit out back along the water or at the outside bar.

The view is indeed incredible, but we were not offered the option to pay a corking fee for our favorite wine and were told we would "have to" use their bar or were welcome to go to another restaurant. The food I ate ran the extremes between tasting charmingly well in-house-made (brie/ham melt) and from-the-freezer (lobster/shrimp spring rolls). The view is not worth the price-gouging, in my opinion.

Overpriced, food is sub par, rude management. With all the amazing restaurants in new hope/lambertville I would recommend taking money elsewhere where the food is excellent and management understands customer service/the value of repeat clientele. You can however enjoy the nice view while drinking your overpriced beer and eating average at best food. Cant wait for the reeds at oddettes to open.

Mistake. Not family friendly but juvenile menu . Buffalo dip app tasted like tuna. Burgers were soggy and under cooked (mine was medium well). No high chairs for children. Given an attitude when trying to bring stroller in. Told by management New Hope doesnt cater to children at most restaurants. Bright side they didnt screw up our drinks:)

Recently came here for New Years Eve. Cozy, festive atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. We ordered the mussels with Andouille sausage to start, which was outstanding (I would order again as my entree). The sea scallops with mushroom risotto was also a treat. The prime rib was pretty good. Would definitely come back!

Our favorite place in New Hope! We always bring people here the 1st time they visit New Hope. Excellent drinks and food. Be prepared for slow service though...I mean they are constantly packed. The interior decor is really nice too but we never sit inside. We love this place and go back every single year.
