My fiancee and i have sworn by this place since Fathers Day 2016.... They have never let us. Until this past Saturday night. Let down and insulted. Since we were in the Penns Landing and couldnt find parking we decided to go get something to eat in the area. Aftern10 minutes of being indecisive we decided Bonefish has always been our go to for great meals tasty drinks and relaxed and calm atmosphere. As always we seated promptly and order our usual I get a Tropic Heat Martini and my lady gets the Pomegranate. Drinks come quickly we order our appetizer... Bang Shrimp and Mussels. After about 15 minutes they came out. My lady is digging into her shrimp. I sample my sauce... Its off. Way off. Not even. I look at the presentation... Its huge Huge chucks of tomatoes everywhere and a mountain of minced/shredded garlic sitting in between the mussels. I dont have a issue eating either but the meal looks like it was thrown together by someone upset or trying to leave for the day. It was..... Wow! Anywho... I push past since we had driven 30 minutes to get there. But yet i keep getting a pungent smell. I assumed its all the garlic mixing with the sauce. Wrong.... I bite into a mussel.... Spoiled rotten! I throw onto an emtpy. Try another. Rotten.... And then i look... Like really look they are all discolored and thats the smell im gettin. Thats where its starts. The server comes over i tell him... No one who comes here could eat that. Then i ask him to smell it. He goes and gets the manager. Manager comes, i again tell him to smell it. He tells me those mussels came in today and he assures me it was they way they were cooked. My rebuttal is that its no way that is an errored cooking practicr and that i would be fine even it were... As i said that (he was holding the plate up by his chest)... He face almost fell off as the wind mustige shifted and the smell of those mussels punched him in the face. He sharpely says "wow". Exactly. He offers me something else in place of that meal. No thanks. That facts the someone prepared that smell that way for a human to eat discourages me.... But then whoever it was bought it to the table smelling it before me. And now the mannger smells. You cooked rotten food and that was the insult. I never write reviews. This may have been my second. But never thought i would be writing this about Bonefish Grille. The manager didnt ever offer a complimentary gift card... Even after seeing my lady didnt wanna finish her meal. And knowing she has the Bonefish app in her phone because we come there religiously..... All the way from NE philly. Truly saddened and disheartening experience. Indeed.

Food and service were very good, as always but Im knocking off a star because they serve Chilean Sea Bass which is an endangered species, thats irresponsible. They have a small beer selection but there is enough variety that youll find something. I had their version of a Moscow Mule and it was very good, copper cup and all. We started off with their delicious bread and olive oil of course and also had an order of edamame which was served with a green tea salt seasoning that was unique and delicious. For dinner I had the Alaskan Cod and my girlfriend had swordfish. Both fishes were great and so were the sides. The server was attentive, somewhat knowledgeable, and sweet. Nice place, nice night, as usual. Please reconsider the Sea bass, it sure is delicious but Im sure our kids would like to be able to try it some day too.

This is one of the best bonefish restaurants we have eaten at. It can be hard to know whats available for lunch, dinner or brunch because they have a different menu for each. Some items are on all the menus and some are only on one so you might have to ask your server for something you like and see if its available. The service here is always good. The bang bang shrimp is a big hit as is their salads and Ive never had an entrée that I did not enjoy. It taste like real fresh food here and not some of the junk you get that many restaurants serve today. I have eaten here several times and its not always perfect but every time I ask they go out of their way to fix it and make it a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Bonefish Grill in Lawrenceville, NJ - We ordered the $17.99 sharable mixed grill meal. We shared 4 entrees which were steak, salmon, shrimp and scallops and our side dishes were mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes. All of the entrees and side dish portions were extremely small and looked like they were for a child. The steak was not bad, and the salmon was ok but he shrimp and scallops tasted terrible and definitively did not taste fresh. The potatoes were not that great and the portions were also extremely small. The only thing we enjoyed was the house salad. I was very disappointed in the dinner and will not be returning.

Solid happy hour specials, decent atmosphere. Crab fried rice seemed to have an entire shakers worth of salt in it but the Wednesday bang bang shrimp special just about made up for that. Sam Adams Octoberfest on draft helped out too. Our waiter Juwan was absolutely outstanding to our group of ten out-of-town coworkers who needed separate checks for expensing the meal; the drink and food orders were prompt and accurate, and whenever we needed something he was there as though by magic.

Just dont let them sit you at the table for 2 in the center next to the large tree. The table wasnt big enough for even the burner under the butter for lobster tails. We were very cramped and the bush hung over the table. The table behind us was practically in my lap. The saving grace was our wonderful waitress Maria who provided excellent service and was sincerely concerned that we were having a good experience. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was delicious.

Overall not that impressed. The bang bang chicken and shrimp were quite good but the entrees lacked taste. I had the seared Ahi tuna Tokyo style and it tasted pre-prepared, definitely not fresh. It wasnt bad, just off compared with tuna elsewhere. My wife had the similar observations with her Tilapia being very salty. We were disappointed given the price of the entrees and expected higher quality.

Absolutely amazing! I was worried that seafood would not fill me up but boy was I wrong. Great appetizers and healthy portions made for a wonderful experience. The service was unlike anything Ive ever experienced. My waiter Tom was very helpful and offered great suggestions for me, a first timer. And the price was very reasonable. This is now one of my new favorites restaurants.

This place was a sham. There was a wait, which I am pretty sure was created just to build anticipation. Basically average fish, prepared in an average way. It seemed overpriced, and was so dark, I could barely see my entree. The bar seemed to have a good vibe going, but I would not reccomend for dinner. You can have a far superior meal at a lower cost somewhere else.

I believe we Americans are gullible. We fall such easy pray to advertisers. The write commercial can sell you garbage like the food at the Bonefish Grill. We went out with friends Saturday night, we all ordered something different from the menu. We ordered appetizers, the main course and dessert. We all agreed our food tasted like cardboard.
