New Years Day dining was severly dampened by unproperly cleaned shrimp, about 3 out 7, in a shrimp scampi entree. Our waitress did not even apologize and quite honestly seemed unfazed. When she was asked what she would have done had this happened to her, she said she would have cleaned them herself. Upon speaking to the owner, who was very apologetic, there was however not even an offer of compensation and we were charged accordingly. What really upset me was that the owner then visited our table just prior to us departing and actually asked us to leave, in a nice way, because they had another reservation for that table and also proceeded to defend her waitress stating, `well you did ask her what she would do had it happened to her`. I did not seek compensation for my daughters ruined meal, but an offer would have been appropriate and to be honest it should have automatically come off our bill. Based on my experience I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Additionally, professional acquintances of mine recommended this restaurant and I will let them know about my experience also.

Weve been taking my aunt to this restaurant for more than ten years when we come to visit and weve always had a wonderful time, service and food. We find the prices very fair for the quality, the quality and diverse selections always great. Once in a while it gets a little busy depending when we show up, but our meal has never suffered for it. So sorry, Kate, you had a bad time. Could you give it another chance?

We love Davia Restaurant! The cuisine is authentic and delicious. A lot of credit should go to the chef, Paul. I have been back many times and have always been blown away by everything I ordered. The service is excellent, everyone makes an effort to make you feel at home. You cant go wrong with Davia if you want a nice night out in Fair Lawn!

Was just there a few nights ago and the food was terrible. It was greasy and the sauces had separated and just didnt taste right. My friends cheese tasted rancid. It was expensive and very disappointing. The service was terrible. The waitress ignored us most of the night. Very bad.

The early bird dinner special includes an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert all for $14. Ive been here twice and both times we received great service and better food (and plenty of it). Highly recommended as a good Italian dinner that wont break the bank!

The food is always delicious, the decor is updated and brighter, and the staff is attentive and pleasant, as usual. I always need to take leftovers home with me; there is too much to eat. Mostly everything is homemade, including desserts.
