I rarely come to Staten Island or leave reviews, but I just have to let people know what Ive experienced. Horrible customer service. I know its an "Italian" restaurant. As much Italian as African or Russian. Disgustingly rude , nasty, and very likely uneducated manager (prob owners son) is nothing but an Albanian thug. I had an early dinner there last Thur, and u shouldve seen and heard what this dirty guy did! Young woman parked her car for a minute and blocked 2 (!!!) inches of his driveway to pick up her son and this manager went BALLISTIC on her, WHILE SHE WAS HOLDING HER BOY IN HER HANDS!! This incident completely ruined my appetite and everything tasted nasty afterward. Even somewhat polite waiter didnt seem polite at all. Food is cheap, though. Just as cheap as the experience. They just dont know what customer experience really is, yet. Theres no need to yell at a woman, threaten, and call her names especially when shes holding her baby son! I wish he did this to my husband 5 years ago when my kids were smaller!! NEVER AGAIN!

Dont know about the food, but the owner is not smart. He scares away all the customers protecting his parking spots. Staten Island is a small place and people talk, and if you own the place you should be more customer oriented, once you make enemy with the pedestrian and with the customers of the next door business over a parking spot, these people, and their relatives, and their friends are least likely to have dinner at your place. Sometimes being more flexible helps making more money. Non customers be aware never park near this restaurant, nor on the parking spot, unless you are the customers. But honestly, I am near there every day, I rarely see customers... Something to think about...

We held a private party in this restaurant. While the food and service were good after our party was over the owner insisted that we pay for 30 adults when our party consisted of 19 adults and 7 children because he gave us the private party room which he usually reserved for 35 people. The entire restaurant was empty and he offered it without mentioning any stipulation of paying for more people than were in our party. Not good business. Dont go here, there are plenty of better places on Staten Island

We were thrilled yo find Cielo when we visited Staten Island. As Italians we can attest that the food was authentic and delicioso! Staff was very friendly and attentive, treating us to a toast at the end. Love Cielo and highly recommend it ❤

Service was good, pasta wasnt particularly amazing. Other reviews were right about this place being kinda quiet. Went in on a Saturday around noon, and the restaurant had only two other patrons aside from myself.
