This location, in the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth NJ served what was less than a McDonalds 1/4 pounder on an Original Burger menu choice. Dried out patty, had to be frozen. Very small burger and roll. The Chicken sandwich my wife ordered was so small as well, but at least it tasted fresh. I am shocked at the drop in quality and size of these sandwiches. I remember eating at Johnny Rockets on cruise ships and in other locations where I thought the hamburgers were made fresh and juicy. The only good thing we had was the fresh cut french fries. If you ordered a side of fries it was $2.99, the waitress never told us for $2 you could get all the fires you wanted if you purchased a sandwich. We were able to correct the order and told her in the future to let people know this. I would only go back and buy the fries, nothing else. It is a shame this franchise has fallen these past years to become even worse, if that is possible than McDonalds. I understand the cost of operation in a large mall like this has to be huge, but if you cut your quality and quantity on your food items you will not get any repeat customers and of course poor ratings on the internet. Smarten up or you will go the way of McDonalds who is struggling for the past few years and at least attempting to get healthier choices in their menus.

This place is awesome! I love the 50s hamburger place theme and the customer service was great... Even though my server was a bit busy running around attending other customers, and I wanted to ask for a refill. So this gentlemen who was cooking, came to where I was in the bar, and took the initiative to ask me if I needed a refill, so I smiled and said yes sir. He refilled my drink and said "if there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know". The gentlemen had glasses and seemed to be hispanic. Good employee! I will recommend this place to everyone I know... Thanx Johnny Rockets!

Absolutely the worst service Ive ever had at a Johnny Rockets restaurant. They were incredibly slow. Food didnt come out until basically an hour after we ordered. My food came cold. My boyfriend got his food 20 minutes before I even got mine. The fries were bland and had no flavor. It took the waitress 20 minutes to get us water and coffee. On top of everything, the waitress was rude and had an attitude the whole time. Dont go to this Johnny Rockets. Youll waste your money.

This place is horrible, its dirty and the workers act like they dont even want to work. A couple of days ago I went and everything was bad. My server was rude and the manger was even ruder. I dont remember there names but my sever was a female with blond colored braids and the manger was a short Hispanic like. I will NEVER come back here not even if Im starving and there the only ones open !

Had lunch here on Wednesday, Dec. 30th, and I have to admit I have never been at a restaurant where all the staff seemed to enjoy working. They were so courteous and helpful to each other and even though it was extremely busy, they were cheerful to the customers. Had wanted to mentioned it to the manager but he was busy and I had to catch a van.

The service was good. The waitress was very nice. I was highly upset about my food and seating. There was a bug on my fries and little bugs flying around. The manager did not even come by and excuse himeself or offer to move me and my toddler. All the manager did was did was yell the waitress to take the fries off my tab. NEVER AGAIN!

Great Fries! Service so poor, at least the waitress took too much time to take the order and it seems like she was serving all tables by herself because she just keep passing both ways but never asked if we were ok or needed anything else. But she did suddenly decided when to bring the check, I assume that our time was over.

When I sat down to the bar area took 10 mins to even get menus, when the order was taken no drinks were given even after telling the manager.. Been sitting since 2:00 still waiting for our food.. Love the food but just customer service and time is not on their side. Needs better kitchen system. 10/24/2015

I had to tell them there were no menus on the table. I had to tell them no waiter ever came to the table. I had to tell them they forgot a drink. I had to tell them they forgot the fries. I had to tell them to give us napkins. The food was okay.

Yesterday we visited Johnny Rockets @ the mall. Everything is just fine there. Delicious milkshakes, awesome burgers and fries. The waiter is not fast, but very friendly! If its possible, we come again for some of your burgers and shakes :)

Do not Waste your time!I was waiting 40 min to sit and more than 30 min to get 3 burgers! 2 hours minimum for nothing! Get away!
