The first couple of times I went it was okay there is never anyone at the front ready to seat you. The service is okay. I love there clam chowder. The last time I went I ordered i did take out because it was almost closing time and I hate being that person to walk in at 10. When I left I was very disappointed I got a half cup full of soup not even a full and I ordered a full cup. I get its the end of the night probably didnt want to make a new batch but when I tell you the cup wasnt even half full and they charged me the full price for the soup pissed me off. They could have told me they didnt have enough for the bigger size I would have understood and would have taken a smaller size. Also the food this time was ehhhhh. I would recommend going earlier in the day.

This was my first visit to Red Robin Staten Island. It was for my birthday burger. The food was mediocre. I no longer eat burgers, so I got a chicken sandwich and a fish plate (which had clam strips, shrimp, etc). I wasnt impressed. The service was poor. The hostess had to search for a clean booth, and there were multiple empty ones, but not washed. I had my 3 year old, and the service was slow enough, with only 3 tables filled, she started acting up. The fries were burnt.. No birthday ice cream (did they stop this?). I couldnt get an entree with my "birthday burger" and the even limit the burgers you can get. "Bottomless" fries and fruit were reluctant. And the server didnt really seem to want to serve. I am not impressed.

Plenty of different burgers to choose from with quality flavor. They have better cooked burgers than most other chain restaurants. With that you get bottomless fries. Keep in mind there are substitutions for healthier options if you would like. My favorite things are the appetizers with 3 price tiers of selections. You can order appetizers and drinks, as well as pay for the meal straight from the computer menu on the table, so service is pretty good. Downside is that its in the mall so it can be crowded, but its nothing to lose a star over.

The burgers themselves taste amazing, and the finest burgers are tailored to your cooking preferences. The quality of the service can vary based on the staff member. Price wise its a gourmet burger place, it wont come cheap especially for multiple guests. The bottomless fries, drinks and appetizers are a great value. The seating venue presents as an old school burger joint atmosphere, with a modern twist to it.

Me and my little daughter happened to be at the mall looking for a dinner , wanted to give this restaurant a try but upsettingly turned away by the very rude and unprofessional hostess who said away from a bunch empty tables and no lines " u got to wait 10 minutes, Ok !!!" Her senses of discriminating was so obvious , I just wonder how the owner can hire such server who turns away clients right away !!!!!

First couple of times were pretty good; Food was great, service was fine. After a while, service has declined. Multiple times service was extremely slow, food was delivered lukewarm/cold, or just missing part of the burger. Even one of the waitresses had stated the staff hadnt received all the burgers parts and decided to send it out anyway. So its a toss up of quality going to this place.

The server Brian Andersen was the worst server I had ever had in my life.He was rude, nasty, and slow. He told me and my wife ,you africans better give me a 25% tip because I pay for your food stamps. He has the typical white racist mentality, assuming all black people get food stamps. Sweetie me and my wife make what you make in a year, in a month. Never coming back here again.

Had to wait to sit down to eat. Requested lemonade with a small amount of ice the waiter bring a cup full of ice and after I complained twice he stated that he had my table confused with the other where that are requesting lemonade with half water. Now my burger comes out pink whereas I told him well done. Never again.

Food was just okay. Good. Nothing to write home about. The wait though is why I am giving such a LOW ratings...Wait about 1 hour for a burger...and the "bottomless" fries are a joke..wanted a refill that took well over 25-30 minutes. NEEDS improvement. Too long of a wait..and the space is a bit cramped too. Eh.

My husband and I tried to eat there about a month after it first opened. Waited an hour for a table . Another 30 minutes to get a waitress to take our order. After waiting over 90 minutes to get the food we walked out. 3 hours wasted and no food ,stopped for a pizza on the way home. Never again.

First 3 times were outstanding! Between the food and service, i fell in love with red robin and recommended it to many people. Went back 2 more times and it was terrible. The food had no flavor, was mushy and not cooked properly, luckily the service was still good so I gave them 2 stars.

The service sucked and our waitress Ann was horrible..... The "manager" checked on ever table except ours.... We had too wait forever for refills on drinks and Ann had a huge attitude.. Dont waste your time or money.

Waited 30 minutes before a waiter even approached the table to tell us he would be with us soon. Plenty of other patrons complaint. Ended up walking out after 45 minutes without even a drink. Pitiful.
