Do not judge this place by its appearance. I was in the vicinity when I could get this amazing aroma coming from somewhere, and my friend told me about this place. Walked in for a quick small order only to find out that they were very busy. I requested the lady at the desk to try and hurry it up and she was glad to help since I had a genuine reason. The paneer kali mirch and breads were really awesome and thought of ordering the same thing for my family the following day making sure I called in before-hand so I do not have to wait. It was the same as I had expected. I would recommend all my friends to try this place and Im sure they will not be disappointed.

This place is really yummy. The food is super authentic and fresh. Definitely the best of any Indian food Ive tried. The prices are fair, and you get a large portion of food. The naan is chewy and delicious! Although I do think the rice is a tad on under-spiced side, but then again its just a side of rice. The only bad thing I can say is that from time to time youll eat a dish and bite down on a whole spice which isnt pleasant at all. The dosas are super yummy, as well as the chicken tikka masala. Overall I would recommend this place. Its a pick up place, so dont expect the service to be outstanding. Its the food that keeps me coming back.

I just picked my food up. excellent food, but there is bunch of idiots that work there. 3 different people gave me 3 different prices. after i paid, some chubby indian guy come out from the kitchen and looks at me and looks away then says, does he want rice? charge him a extra dollar for rice. you serious?? he lucky i was hungry and i didnt just stand there n argue with him and try to get my money back. i wouldve knocked him out and walked out. i made sure when i called the dish i order also comes with rice with the price. it does. and this guy tries to charge me a extra dollar? never will i go in there again

The food is not as good as some of the reviews suggest. Typical Indian type set up . Place is dirty , lady who took orders at counter was more interested in her cell phone call and no apology to waiting customers. Very little concept of customer service skills. I guess when people start to get busy and make money complacency sets in. We were disappointed. Food full of food color and cream mixed in with all the curries including karahi dishes.

Food was cold, driver delivered to the wrong address, refused to provide a receipt. Requested a refund of the tip, Delhi Garden wouldnt do anything! Never ordering from them or Grub Hub again. Both pointed to each other!. Supervisor/Owner of restaurant was very rude and unhelpful... Plenty of other choices for Indian food, Ill be exploring those from now on.

All the dishes Ive tried have been amazing. I live close to oak tree but will drive to Delhi garden for its authentic taste and fast service. The chilli chicken and chick tikka masala are two of my favorites. The owners are genuine and caring people who try to accommodate any requests you have. Its also serves only Halal meat for those who may be interested.

Delhi garden is my favorite Indian restaurant. Their food is always freshly prepared. They give a Rutgers student discount, so remember to bring your ID. This restauraunt also serves halal meat. My personal favourites are the chicken korma and the chicken 65. Most dishes come with rice. For dessert, the gulab jamun is very good too.

Owners are very rude. Do not take orders when you call them and answer other calls in between your call. I will not recommend this place to anyone. There are many other Indian restaurant in and around Edison that are better at their service. 2 stars as food is okay but service is very very poor.

Quality of food has gone down drastically. I yesterday brought some food from Delhi garden and it was no longer the kind of food they used to give earlier. Actually it was pathetic. Something went wrong either they changed cook or somehow they are trying to degrade quality to make more money.

We had a large order of about $500. It was very disappointing. The food was greasy. We had ordered a chicken and goat dish. There was very little meat in the dishes that we were embarrased in front of the guests. I absolutely will not EVER go to this place or recommend it to anybody.

Called in for delivery, gave my address and placed order only to be told I lived too far (outside of their 10 mile radius). Mapquest shows I am 5 miles from their restaurant. Why even offer delivery? I would not recommend this restaurant based on the (lack of) level of service.

It was a small Birthday Party of my daughter...but Delhi Garden (Mr. Satyan) made it grand. We ordered food from them and it was way beyond our expectation. All the guests enjoyed the food to the fullest. Samosa Chat, Gajar Halwa ... a must try!!! Thanks Delhi Garden (Satyan)

A very busy Indian take-out kitchen optimized for quality + price. Note: it is a Take-Out only, it is not a restaurant where you can sit down and enjoy your food. Quantities served are more than adequate. I ordered for a party of 40 people and the food was good enough for 50!

We have had food from Delhi Garden several times and their food quality was good but Im disappointed with the lasuni Kabab today, it didnt taste anything like lasun. Their quality of food is dropping, I suggest them to rather improve to hold their regular customer.

Best Indian food in the HP/South Edison area. They are a small shop, so things get busy around dinner time. They generally over estimate delivery times, so dont get upset by the time they tell you. It will get there sooner. They are closed on Tuesdays.

The food is good. What makes this place really stand out is the staff. We ate outside in front of the restaurant and it may have been because we were the only customers who did that, but we got their undivided attention. They even gave the baby a toy!

We live around Edison NJ. Over the years we have tried different Indian restaurants for various occasions. This year in January we tried Delhi Garden. The food was amazing. Good customer service. Guys give it a try, you wont regret it.

Most tasty authentic Indian food in the area. This is a take away restaurant but you will love the amazing taste specially for Paneer dishes and appetizers. If you are in New Jersey dont miss this taste. Owner is such a nice person.

These restaurant has limited seating, and has a high volume of take out orders during dinner time. I would recommend calling ahead to minimize wait time. Staff are nice. Chicken and rice platter with white sauce was DIVINE!!!

Best authentic Punjabi food in the area. Great option for take out and delivery for home parties. Awesome samosa and halwa. Loved kolhapuri and murg vindaloo. Best thing is that prices at $9 per item is bang for Buck.
