Delivery for this place is really bad. Your order food and they deliver in 2 hours and always the delivery excuse is there were alot of deliveries and they charge for it. And by the time the food comes is is really cold. Sometimes they also mess up the order and then take a longer time to fix it. Have eaten at the restaurant some times and their biryani is just heated not freshly made. The standard of food is not as per expectation. Please make sure that if you want to eat on time, order the food 2 hours in advance. Also the food in the counter also takes so much time and the staff on the phone is not responsive also.

I have had mixed experiences with Persis. On weekends they seem to find it hard to get their act right. Ordered a chicken biriyani and tandoori chicken today to go. Was told 40 minutes. 40 became close to 60. When we opened the biriyani at home, the rice was warm, but the chicken was rather cold. I called up and told them so. Turns out that the chicken was made earlier and refrigerated. They apparently warm it up and serve with the rice. My chicken must have been really out cold. Not going to be ordering from here again. Would have given one star, but I have had better experiences with Persis in the past.

Persis Indian Grill - Piscataway will definitely be my best dining spot. Perfect place for those craving for Indian food especially Hyderabadi Biryani in NJ/NY. Great Ambience and customer service. The menu depicts the good number of food choices with the affordable prices. My tummy is crammed with the immense portions of food items I was served. The level of spice was bang on and had authentic taste like the Indian food. I greatly recommend this restaurant.

This review is specially about the place. It is dark, was hot when we went there (the owner for some reason decided to not turn up the AC) and reeks of some bad odour. Dont even attempt to head to the rest room area. I have never understood why Indian reataurants cant spend a few bucks and effort in keeping their location neat and clean, especially, the area near the kitchen and the rest room. Sadly, this restaurant lowers all bars when it comes to cleanliness. The food is tasty, biryani is DUM, so, probably a place meant for takeaways.

I recently visited Persis Biryani in Piscataway and was pleasantly surprised with the taste of dishes here. I am a very picky eater and I have tried many Indian restaurants but the taste here was very close to what we get back home in India. The Chicken Biryani and Chicken Hyderabadi are my two personal favorites. Chilly Chicken and Goat Sukha are a must try for appetizers. Persis Biryani in Piscataway is definitely the best in town. I wish I discovered this place earlier. Definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work guys.

I dined at many Indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. The ambiance is very classy, the staff is attentive and the food is well presented. The menu contains a good number of house specialties which are a cut above the normal menu offerings. Really enjoyed yummy food and service was fantastic, would definitely go back. We had Persis cater food for my sons birthday party (guest ~50). The food was amazing and such a HUGE hit with all of our guests. It is priced fairly and the quality was fantastic!

Visited Persis quite a few times, consistency = Persis, was never disappointed with the quality of food and their great service. Tandoori chicken is just awesome, done to perfection, very moist inside, I even requested them to give me the recipe :), the best. Goat biryani, chicken fry, chicken keema naans are yummy, so is rasmalai for dessert, my mouth is watering as I am writing this review ;). Edison and vicinity is known for Indian restaurants and I can say this, Persis is the best around.

I went in 20 minutes before closing time , they said that their kitchen was going to close and could only serve Biryani. We ordered chicken Biryani and it came out about 15 minutes after and pretty good, however was certain it was heated in a microwave being brought out. It tasted pretty good but their service probably needs to be help to a higher standard. We ordered a soda, came out warm - had to ask for ice a bunch of times but overall was a pleasant experience.

We had Persis cater a small get together, the food was amazing. We had the Chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala and onion pakoda. There were a few people from London (amazing Indian food) and several of us had been to India more than once (Bukhara is my fav) so I was hoping it would be a hit. It was clear after people were going up for their second and third helpings that Persis was spot on! I will be going back again... soon :) have to try the butter chicken.

I have been to this place many times, its very good and the reception is pretty welcoming. I think Sam is the one who is manager who takes care of the customers very well. He suggested us new menu items Malai Kabab , keema naan and Mugalai Chicken. They are the best Indian food in this area. The ambiance is very modern and very nice place to have good dinner or Lunch. I would recommend anyone to try good India food in the Piscataway area. - Robert.

It took 1 hour and 40 minutes to deliver food for 1 person. Of course the food was cold. When they got to my door he said "we didnt have sprite so you got ginger ale" (which I dont like, didnt just call me and ask what Id prefer) so I said its been almost 2 hours and my order isnt even right? He responded "whatever man, call the manager" will NEVER order from here again. Disrespectful is never acceptable.

I have been there couple of days back. The Biryani was ok not bad but the customer service is bad and more over they are showing attitude. I asked for onions and gave frozen one and asked twice about it to change then the attitude begun. Crazy service I have never been through it after that I prefer not to go there. Bad service I mentioned couple more time what I needed but was not given

The food from veg to chicken is fantastic. The yellow dal is amazing and the chicken tandoori is spicy and succulent. The biggest issue is service. I had to ask for ice several times. I had ask for my soft drink order a few times. I asked for mint chutney for my pakora and we had finished the tray by the time we got it. Kind of silly. They need a professional server.
