Its a real shame that Im giving this place only two stars. The food was great but the service was just terrible. Me and a friend came here one night and the place was empty except with a group Infront of us. Now i understand how it is to go somewhere with a group and how long it is to finally put in your orders. The problem was that there were two workers there, while one of them was helping the group ahead of us the other was just sitting down not doing anything. We decided to let him know that we were waiting to order and all he said was wait for the girl at the counter while he was texting. She has her hands full with another group and he couldnt even get up just to write down two simple orders. Anyway after waiting for 15min, once again I dont blame the group for taking so long just the worker for having no care for the customer, we finally put in our order and sat down. Just when you thought that nothing else could go wrong we ended up waiting more than an hour for our food. That was enough time for the group that was ahead of us to get their food and finish eating. The waitress at the counter had asked us twice if we got our food and both times we told her no and that weve been waiting for some time. After an additional 15min of waiting we finally got our food and the funny thing is that they put it as a to go order when we specifically said were dining in. We decided to push it off as an honest mistake. As we sat down and got our food we noticed that we were missing certain things that should have came with our meal as stated on the menu. When we had told them about this they for some reason gave us a dirty look as if were trying to get a free meal, after much silence they told us that theyll bring it to us. I dont like complaining and although the place was dead since we went really late at night thats no reason for you to give horrible service to any customer. By the way we never got the additional condiments that should have came with the entrees and one of our appetisers, we just got up and left.

We purchased a coupon on Groupon saying any 2 entrees drinks and dessert . when we got to the restaurant it was so hot inside we had to ask him if it was cooler in the back of the establishment. If that wasnt bad they didnt know what the Groupon was or how to even bring it up then and this is most important it did not specify that you were only allowed to get chicken on trees or vegetarian entrees which was not Groupons fault or ours but the restaurants so I could not get the lamb. They wouldnt even do it or honor the coupon for this first time to get the land being as it was their mistake. The soda was canned soda. And only one each their dessert was Buffet dessert that look like had been sitting there for a long time at least since the morning and it was lunch time. Groupon did nothing about it. Oh yeah they also said when we asked them for bread that we should ask them before the meal to bring bread out instead of waiting until we were already eating. Which is ridiculous because any other Indian place we ate out they brought bread out right away this place was a joke the food was also a joke horrible the worst food I ever had never going back I recommend never ever going there and thinking twice about getting a coupon from Groupon do your homework first and never go to this restaurant ever bunch of college kids thinking they can run a restaurant most people go there I guess for the buffet that look so old I wanted to throw up their bathroom floor was slippery mirror was foggy overall not even a star just put it so I could right this. Oh and did I tell you how rude they were and didnt care about their food being horrible were that day had a coupon out there for Groupon and didnt even know it. Good luck if you ever go there you must be into the really old Buffet

Worst customer service experience ever. I went into the "restaurant" waiting for 10 minutes to at least for someone to say "well be right there" but without any response. Furthermore, there were people in the "restaurant" still waiting for their orders for over an hour because of the poor communication between the cashier and cook. I left 10 minutes after only to be scolded by the obviously drunken owner, who had the audacity to harass my accompanying friend and I about my "boredom" in his "restaurant" and continued to slander us for no reason. He proceeded to state that "he didnt want our business anyway" and flicked a cigarette at my friend. I should not be surprised, since the entire New Brunswick main district / Rutgers community knows his history, especially at his original Kati Roll service just a block away. He treated his own staff and customers like dogs. (This is why people who used to work at this place made their own Kati Roll franchises successfully because they were HUMBLE). His history of verbal abuse, lack of professionalism, and late on his rent by 7 months is the reason why he was kicked out - eventually, moving a block down to this current "restaurant". I was a former Rutgers student, so I know this through word of mouth, but never experienced this actual encounter until recently. In terms of the food, it is good (it is Kati Roll after all) but overpriced. There are other places around the area where you can get BETTER food. This is one place I will never set foot in again, because I ask for mere BASIC HUMAN ETIQUETTE from another person. To run him out of business, someone needs to open up a Kati Roll near him and have the fundamentals on how to conduct yourself as a human being.

Abysmal. The absolute worst place to eat. DO NOT GET YOUR FOOD DELIVERED IF YOU WANT TO EAT THE FOOD THE SAME DAY! Took the food 3 hours to be delivered! The delivery guy came to the door so nonchalantly as if I didnt order 3 HOURS AGO! The food was stone cold. I gave it right back to him, and ordered from somewhere else. I called the restaurant over 10 times on three different phones trying to get my money back, because I thought they forgot about my order and charged me. They wouldnt even pick up, and it went to voice mail every time. The last time I called they FINALLY picked up, only for the guy to get all pissy at me for being angry. They "lost" my receipt so apparently they couldnt give me the refund until they found it. They claimed that they were super busy and wouldnt be able to find it until later. I told them if they didnt call me back within one hour, I was going to take drastic measures (call the bank/have them sued). I hung up, and they called me back within the hour with my receipt. I finally got my money back. NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! TERRIBLE customer service. Worst place to order from. I had their food once, and it was OK. Nothing too special. Do yourself a favor, and save your money, or take your business elsewhere. I really dont know how they get customers. Everyone I talked to on the phone was so rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. On the phone they were screaming at each other, and calling each other names. They even told me the person that took my order is new and a dumb ass. A girl I talked to seemed like she didnt even know her right hand from her left. So terrible. -5 is my real rating!
