I was really shocked to experience such poor service and food quality, considering the looks from the outside and inside isnt too shabby either. It was just me and my wife, there were at least 5-6 tables empty so I cant imagine it was full but literally since we sat, it took 8 mins to get our teas and even put our order in. As the food came, it came either in a barrage and then they left 2 dishes to come out like 30 mins later? what gives? I honestly almost felt the waitress servers tables and cookes the food in the back ! Not once she ever said sorry or even hinted some common courtesy. As for the food, the rolls (rice) was mushy. The soy sauce that they use is some cheap chinese brand (is not Yamasa, despite that they refill in the bottles) Quite honestly, the only thing I recall that was decent was the regular house salad. I guess you cant mess that up? We had udon, terrible no taste and way overcooked. Not to mention the pot is steaming hot, I just wondered why a waitress wouldnt ever warn a person? I obviously knew it was hot, but I mean.. it was OFF THE STOVE SKIN BURNING HOT.. they really need to be careful and tell customers. My wife had salmon, which looked like they boiled it and just threw it onto those hot plates? No taste or texture? The funny thing was a table behind us also complaint about the food, as I could hear them tell the waiter to return stuff back. It really was not a pleasant experience at all, and I would highly stay away. For the money and price, you are better off driving to a main area with better authentic japanese food. and the prices are lil pricey, rather got to Kyoto on rt 9. much lower and better food.

I dont review places often but this place really compelled me to write one. We had hibachi and it was terrible. Weve had a lot of hibachi before and this one is by far the worst. Rice was over cooked and had only a small trace of egg, no veggies or sauce or flavor. The meat was tough and also had no flavor. Nobody ate the noodles cause they also had no flavor. Only thing worse than the food was the service. Rude and inattentive... waitress even questioned me when I asked for a glass. To top things off, they washed the hibachi table while we were still eating, getting dirty soap water all over the table. Seriously, worst hibachi place ever.

A fantastic place to eat in the South Brunswick area! Great for dine-in or take-out. My coworkers and I order lunch from here every Friday and are never disappointed! You can really taste how they use fresh ingredients that are of great quality. Have had the hibachi dine in several times and they really put on a great show while also serving fantastic food.

Poor hibachi service . I have never seen this kind of service in NJ and PA. Cups were dirty. All other peoples lipsticks were on every cups to serve teas. They dont clean at all. No hibachi show for Asian people serving. Do not go there. They asked me to pay $25 dish every hibachi meal. You feel same way when you go there. Worst restaurant ever.

We love Fuji restaurant! We have been coming here for over 7 years! The staff is delightful and always takes great care of us! We love having hibachi and the show is always fantastic! The food is top notch! I love their steak, lobster, shrimp, and chicken- all of it! The sushi is always made fresh to order!

Ive been coming here for years and I love it. Love it with all my heart. Its the best sushi place in the area and even if busy its worth the wait. Theres one waitress who wears glasses who is the kindest sweetest woman. Eat here. Do it.

Sushi at Fuji is incredibly fresh and delicious. The Dragon Roll, salmon sashimi, and seaweed salad were all wonderful. Between 4:30 and 8:30 PM on Monday-Thursday, they offer 1/2 price sushi for dine-in orders.

Well, just spent my last bill here and not coming back. Can you believe that I just paid double (!) for takeout?! Outrageous. Only sit-ins get half price. Dont like the ambiance, why would i sit in.

Eat here all the time. New sushi chef is fantastic. Service is great, sushi is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you havent tried it or come back and try it with the new chef.

The value here is in the lunch specials. Decent sized portion and served quick. Perfect when you dont have long to stop and good for the $ too.
