I smell bovine scathology all over some of these reviews... Someone says the owner is rude to them after they ordered a $19 pasta meal. There are no $19 pasta meals on the menu. Check it out... menu is online. Ive never had them turn me away for using any form of payment, theyve always been honest and friendly. Even when Im just grabbing a slice, Ill still see the owner walking into the restaurant section and speak with the customers - asking them if everything is ok, if they need anything, etc. I have been a loyal customer for close to 15 years and I am WELL KNOWN for being picky about the places I will get food from. The food and service quality have obviously paid off, as well. If any of the poor reviews were true, Im sure that Capriccios would not have undergone the renovation it did. I never thought the place was ugly but it was a typical pizzeria. Now it is a good looking, cozy family / neighborhood Italian place where you can really be happy to take and meet friends.

HORRIBLE. Will never ever ever order from here again. They messed my order up. The food was terrible, the worst Ive ever had from an Italian restaurant and we have been going here all our lives since they first opened in South Brunswick. Dont go here. New management is not good management. Funny how you have zero marketing or customer service skills to respond in the way you do below. We have been going here our whole lives, so yes it is pretty sad that someone could mess up a cold cut sub. I asked for a little extra mayo and it was SLATHERED in mayo, no way we could even eat the sub it was making us sick. Asked for diet coke, got regular. 40 minutes later finally called and said dont come back with the soda because we have already thrown the sub away. I have never written a review before but for such a disappointing situation for a place we all loved as kids I had no choice, oh and you are welcome for our past and last business with you :)

The service here is horrendous. The owner is rude and does not care about his customers. I ordered a pasta dish ($19 for lunch) and was waiting with my party. The waitress brought out a salad, which i assumed came with my lunch. I took two bites and just continued waiting for my pasta. After a few minutes, the waitress comes out and asked if i had ordered a salad to which I replied no. Then the owner comes and asks "if you didnt order it, why did you take it." I politely said i thought it came with my meal to which he huffed and grabbed the salad and walked away. He then is yelling at his waitress to ask before she puts food down because the customers are "stupid" and dont know better. For a $4 salad, this man yelled and made a customer paying $20 to decide on never returning. Stay clear of this place.

hahah...I have to admit the owners are dishonest...I actually saw the fat guy Dominick take tips off the tables meant for the waiters. I also went in there once and didnt have any cash on me. I thought the owner this time it was Antonio would let me use a debit card. But he said no exceptions all customers have to have orders of $10 or more. He then went ahead and ordered an extra slice with sausage but the order came to 9.40. then he said here have an extra large coke now you can use your debit card. The forli family that owns this place are crooks. Overall, an ok place in terms of quality of food, I only go there cause I live in E.Gardens apts and its a quick walk. Gisuppes down the street has better food and they have brick oven pizza. Much better taste.

Before we discovered Capriccio, I used to enjoy "Pizza, Pizza" chain. My wife and kids made me an actual convert to Capriccios pizza. I have to admit, I love it. Crust is baked always to perfection and all ingredients just play well together. I always order the same thing: Mushrooms, Pepperoni, and Peppers and never was disappointed. Somebody complained about portions, but I would have to ask, how big of a portion would you like to get for what you pay? I find what they give us very generous and do not find any reason to complain. Overall, I would recommend them to anybody who would ask me for a good pizza around.

theres a few pizza shops in south brunswick. this one has been here since i can remember. i usually have it delivered and the guy taking the calls is usually cranky. food wise though i cant complain. i get chicken parm with pasta almost all the time. prices are comparable to any of the other shops. dinner for 2 your looking at 25-30$ for 2 entrees bread and side salads.

I would say the only good thing about this place is their bathroom that I used. My pizza tasted old. Fat italian/mexican guy was sweating all over the pizza. Maybe it is because I am not from this area and they serve this way but I would never eat in this area again and never eat here again.

The food is excellent, lots of premium cheese and fresh vegetables. The staff engages in conversation, rather than asking for your order and then staring or talking amongst themselves. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was bought over a year ago from the old owners.

Placed an order for a take out delivery of just one pizza pie. It took the pizzeria a follow up call and longer than one to deliver our pizza. Completely disrespectful on the phone too. Their pizza is good, but need a little more work on the customer service.

The older management obviously had better sense to make pizza too. the gentleman was a bit brash but made awesome pizza. had the pizza last night, now under new management, disgusting, gooey and stale. Major loss for Dayton of apizza place.

This place has definitely gotten much better with the new management. Food and pizza are pretty good and priced fairly. I have not yet ordered anything from and did not like it.

Food is Excellent and the staff is friendly. They also are active in the community by helping the student athletes of South Brunswick. I would highly recommend you try them out.
