Visited this place for the second time in last one month our experience for the first time was great and thought we would give them a second chance with few guests for dinner. The table we got was in the corner good for our size of group but window A/C was blowing air right on th persons sitting on two chairs. Appetizers and Salad were great if you like garlic I highly recommend their roasted pepper & cheese plate its a great combination either with their house bread or with garlic cheese bread on the menu. Their bread dipping oil is also very nice with basil pesto. Our second time experience however with the entrees was not too pleasing. We ordered Gnocchi in Marinara sauce with basil also ordered Roasted Pepper & Asparagus ravioli in Vodka Sauce both the Sauces had real sour taste to it like it had vinegar in them. Since our first experience was really good and on second experience except those two entrees we got decent food I give them 4 stars. If on my third visit if we have to again sit at A/C blowing on the face and eat sour pasta I might go and change the rating

Nice place, good food, but service was super slow... For no reason. There was one other table occupied. Servers were just sitting around talking instead of checking on empty glasses and getting us change for the bill. Hope that was unusual because wed like to go again.

Food is very average. Very very expensive for this location. Im saying this because Ive had better Italian food in zagat rated restaurants in Manhattan and queens for less cost than this.

I have arranged several business meals at La Taverna. Everyone from the owner(s), manager(s) to the wait staff are very accomodating. The food is excellent for the price.
