We love brunch at the Tortilla Press. Food is always excellent and fresh. The cinnamon-sugar chips with dipping sauce are AMAZING! Also, the coffee is always fresh, hot, and brewed strong. Actually, some of the best coffee I have had out at a restaurant. Brunch is a great value with hefty portion sizes. There is an early bird menu with slightly smaller portions for those with less of an appetite. I definitely recommend the breakfast burrito as it is HUGE and delicious. We have had almost everything on the brunch menu, and enjoy it all. Decor is fine with much locally produced art displayed (and for sale) on the walls. Service was excellent during my last visit. Some previous visits were lacking in quality service though. But the last few times have been good, so it is nice to see that service appears to be a focus for Chef Mark and his crew. Keep that great service coming! We will be back many more times!

My spouse and I recently dropped by the Cantina restaurant in Merchantville for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. It was a friendly and warm neighborhood atmosphere and we felt very comfortable. We have been there twice now and the food was terrific both times! Not the heavy cheesy and greasy food that is often served at Mexican restaurants but rather fresh and delicious. We have tried the freshly made tacos to include fish, pulled chicken and beef with tasty rice and beans—terrific! We are not big fans of salsa—much of it can be mediocre and the chips very greasy—but this was not the case. Fresh tasty salsas were served (red, green, and black bean) and the chips were incredibly crisp and light. The servers were excellent and attentive but not overwhelming. We look forward to trying their fajitas on our next visit.

I was hoping for a pleasant dining experience and authentic Mexican food, but got neither. The waiter was attentive and helpful, but the hostess sat us in the draftiest, noisiest table near the bathroom and kitchen (with the rest of the restaurant nearly empty). The place appeared filthy, with cobwebs, dust, and random liquid drip marks everywhere. Perhaps eating there at night (or at a better table) would be better so you cant see the lack of cleanliness. There was a rubber band in the green salsa, too. Overall, the food tasted bland (like gringos made it), and it pales in comparison to almost every other Mexican restaurant in the area. El Sitios and La Guadalupanas food is infinitely better. The waiter was pleasant and the tortillas were pretty good, but the overall dining experience and entrees were subpar.

My husband and I decided to try something different for my birthday. Our waiter was fabulous. We were seated by the restrooms and kitchen, so there was a lot of traffic going by our table. I ordered the plantains and he got the chicken quesadillas as appetizers, which were both good. For my meal I ordered the steak and rainbow shrimp for $23, it was a good bit for the price, but my steak was a cheap cut, but still tasty. My husband got the habanero coconut shrimp for $20, for that price we were shocked it only came with 7 shrimp. He really loved it though. Our biggest complaint is that our veggies were not cooked at all, they seemed to have only been warmed. We both ordered the Mexican brownie, which was out of this world. We both agreed that we would go here again, as it was good, just not excellent.

This place gets packed and they dont have the staff to handle it. The food is not authentic and the portions are small for the price. My husband and I went with our son who is just under two it took over an hour to get our appetizers and our sons food. Just under 1.5hrs after the app and the babys food had come out my very patient son was done sitting around with nothing to do. My husband had to take him to the car and the waitress packed our tiny entre and desert to go. She comped us the babys food for our trouble ($4 out of the nearly 60 they charged us for nearly nothing). If you have a lot of time to sit and stare at the walls while you wait for over priced food then I say give it a shot but otherwise avoid it especially if you have little ones that might get impatient with a long wait.

I am never disappointed when i go to tortilla press. the food is fantastic & the staff are all very friendly. 2 HUGE thumbs up! There are some very original dishes that the chef has come up with. Not a traditional mexican restaraunt but a really innovative & interesting one. The chef comes up with some great combinations & in my opinion they are all fantastic. If you have never been there & you like BBQ pork, they have an amazing peanut butter pulled pork dinner. It is scrum-diddily-umptious. I recommend trying that. ooooh! or the squash blossom quesadilla. i think it is seasonal so you have to try one when you see it on the menu. before they are all gone! :)

I take my family out to dinner on Fridays most weeks of the year and alternate among about 6 restaurants in the South Jersey area. Whenever the group decides its Mexican Night we head to Tortilla Press in Pennsauken. The Food is great and the service is fantastic. The prices are fair and the environment is very special and friendly. I met chef Mark on a few occasions and appreciated his habit of talking to patrons for immediate feedback. He is very concerned with our satisfaction with the food and service and I appreciate that. His staff is professional and friendly and the art decor is very unusual. Keep up the great work. Cheers

The food was amazing. Quaint personal restaurant with an exceptional taste. Staff is always friendly and service is always good. No request is too small or inconvenient for them. The chefs come up with some unique meals and they are always tasty. We like our food "spicy" and cannot always get it to our satisfaction. I love how the chefs here aim to please and personalize all our meals. Every time I go in I look for the "new" choices or specials because they always come up with great ideas. Everyone who likes Mexican should try this place at least once. I go to the Cantina but I am sure the other is just as great.

We went recently on a Friday evening to use a birthday club coupon. Weve been to Tortilla Press many times. There were three of us, one had the burrito, one had the fajitas and one had the chile rellenos. We also had an order of guacamole and chips. One of us had the cinnamon ice cream to finish off. We brought some BYOB to go with a pitcher of lime margaritas. Everything was very good and as we expected. The only minor thing I would say was that three tortillas is not enough for the fajita plate. All else was excellent. We always have a great time at Tortilla Press.

We always enjoy our dining experience at the Tortilla Press in Collingswood, NJ. We specifically go over to NJ from Philadelphia just to eat at this restaurant. We dine there at least monthly if not more often. It is the only Mexican restaurant we go to. It is consistently good and there are always interesting specials to try. The food is fresh from the local markets and the owner supports the local farmers. You wont be disappointed if you try it! Plus it is BYOB, so bring your wine or tequila and they will give you the margarita mix.
