So according to Googles rating system, 1 star is Hated it and 2 stars is Disliked it. Im choosing Disliked over Hate for 3 reasons - 1: Hate is a really strong word. Id have to have been made to run out of the restaurant in order to rate it that. 2: The waitress was a really good sport and 3: My burger was cooked as I requested it. Its saving graces end there. First - dont bother looking at the list of beers on the menu. They dont have most of them. In a party of 6, 5 of us ordered beers - each of us a different one. They didnt have any of them - on a Sat. night, I might add. Strange, considering that its billed as a sports bar. It became more of a question of what they did have and we only got the beer that we ended up with b/c someone ran over to the liquor store across the parking lot. We then ordered apps. I wanted a cup of soup - no cups of soup - only bowls. And I just wasnt hungry enough to eat a bowl of soup and dinner, so no soup for me. We also ordered roasted clams. They came out as clams on the half shell. So those got sent back. When the roasted clams finally showed up, our dinners were right behind. As I said earlier, the burgers were cooked as ordered - a plus. The bacon was a bit on the burnt side. My friends seared tuna was well done. The roasted chicken looked like it came from a cornish game hen, it was so small. And speaking of small, the sliders are just that. Dont order them if youre hungry. Because thats how youll leave - hungry. Maybe they were having a really bad day or perhaps theyre still in growing pain mode, but I dont think Ill be going back to River Rock anytime soon.

If your idea of a good time is alot of kids screaming and conversing in the loudest manner possible to hear over the headache-pumping bass, this is the place for you. Wilding whelp packs of boys and guidos with chips on their shoulders and wearing color clashing baseball caps, fake chains, and bright dayglo sneakers are here to scream in your ear, spill bear on your shoes, hit on your girlfriend, and dance the macarena (Ricky Martins forbidden dance of amor) until their as5holes loose their tightness. To fit in to this loserama of schmucks and scumbags at this place, especially on Wednesday night is enough to make you wear your moms bandanna, douse yourself with Cool Water, and grind with anybody male or female in your immediate vicinity. If someone starts a fight with you, which happens so often according to the Wayne Police, expect little dirt-kin to come out of the woodwork, and punch you in every location, at the same time the fat-as5 bouncers will grab your arms and put you in a headlock allowing his many genetically-stunted shore-billies to take free shots at you! What a bunch of cowardly scumbag pussie5!convinced you to stay the f away and this sounds like your idea of a good time, than by all means go to Marina Grille and make "The Situation" from mtvs "Jersey Shore" look like Jimmy Fallon sipping tgea pinky up from an English teacup. A far more fittin name for this place would be,"The Douche Palace." Avoid this sh1thole, and maintain some little respect for yourself !

Went here a few weeks ago for the night life. Lights came on ar 1:30am or whatever time it was, letting everyone know theyre closing soon. My friends and I were on our way out the door, after exiting I turned around and they were not behind me as they just were. So I went back inside, saw them talking to an old friend, and started walking towards them. A bouncer at that point PHYSICALLY stopped me and said no one goes back in. I explained the situation and told him I just want to get my friends and go, Im tired, and its 15° outside. He said no and that Im lucky hes even allowing me to stand inside the door. I asked him why hes being a jerkoff, and he then sweared at me and pushed me out the door and made me fall down. I only had one drink that night, I was the DD. I was not being belligerent. I will never go here again. I have since let my family know about this, they will never go there again. They used to go all the time, a lot of them, including extended family, and my girlfriends family. That bouncer lost you thousands of dollars in the long run from that incident alone, just from my family. Imagine what this review will do, and who else this bouncer has and will piss off. Things need to change.

Went to River Rock last night for dinner. We sat on the patio which was beautiful. Initial service was pretty quick. Once we actually ordered our food, it took almost 30 minutes for us to get our salads. Then it took almost an hour to get our food. Mind you that we only ordered pizza and burgers. The pizza was not very good. I liked the thin crust but the sauce made it taste like a frozen totinos pizza. My husband ordered a burger medium rare. It was very well done and disgustingly dry. And the fact that it took 1 hour to get a pizza and (what was supposed to be) a medium rare burger, it should have been a lot better quality than what it was. I was also told before we ordered not to order the Penne Vodka or the turkey burger and was alos told to stay away from the sushi. This limits the remaining selections. I probably wont be going back there. Too much money to spend on not that great of food when I can go somewhere else and get a better mean for the same price.

River Rock Grille (formally the Marina Grille) is home to a variety of cultures coming from the new owners including Italian, Costa Rican and Jewish. The owners of River Rock chipped in a little of their own creativity to show the people of the jersey shore a wonderful time. With all-star cuisine, solid drink specials and rocking out entertainment it is definitely the place to be. Although they are in the process of changing around the menu and their overall layout awaiting the grand opening next summer they always prove to have a goodtime. This place is a great place to grab a wide variety of beer (courtesy of the liquor store located across the street), mouthwatering cuisine and the hot spot for the biggest games, events and holidays. They didnt have the best track record but with the new owners making everything to perfection the River Rock is literally the sign for a good time.

If you are looking for "the in place" on the marina in Brick: this is the venue. There is a reason why its always packed. Between the indoor area, deck on the marina and "sand lot" bar; you are sure to find a location you love. We had the bacon wrapped scallops and they were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The drunken clams has a broth you want to drink on its own! The surf and turf had a steak that melts in your mouth and the 6 oz lobster tail that was cooked too sweet perfection. Not for the shy at heart for after the dinner service is over the venue turns into the night spot for local and seasonal visitors with live bands and DJs. Oh and families are sure to also enjoy the upbeat staff and reasonable prices. Its worth the wait so sit back and relax....River Rock is rockin!
