Weve been to The Wine Bar on multiple occasions for a couples dinner and either hosting or attending very special celebrations. The overall venue, event planning, food quality & options, service was exception, perfect, and much appreciated. All of which, reasonably priced! As soon as one enters The Wine Bar, theres a feeling he/she is patronizing an exclusive NYC venue relative to the settings of a high end lounge, comfortable and lively atmosphere and decor, to the fine dining service area. A number of my guests attending one of my hosted events returned on their own for couple dinners and affairs theyve hosted! Very likely when you visit the Wine Bar the first time, youll return multiple times in the future!

There were 6 of us for dinner. Three of us got sick that night. Called the restaurant to give them a "heads up." The restaurants spokesperson was very defensive. Said it couldnt be our dinner and insisted that it takes at least takes 48 hours after eating something before food poisoning occurs. I believe that shes mistaken. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Food poisoning symptoms, which can start within hours of eating contaminated food, often include nausea, vomiting or diarrhea." That perfectly describes what happened to us. Note, the three of us didnt eat the same thing. Our three friends who didnt get sick also didnt eat what we ate. I suspect poor food handling.

We had my grandmothers repass here at the Wine Bar. We had the entire floor to ourselves. It was beautiful! The planning was very last minute but they took care of everything and were so considerate during a very difficult time. The waitresses were wonderful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

The manager came to the table right after our food was delivered and requested that I remove my hat! What? Why not tell me when I sat down? Or when I walked in the door? Poor management if you ask me. Stupid! The rest of the place was fine and the food was good...

The wine bar its a great spot for just grabbing a drink or for date night. Over the years I have found the food to be quite good, however, my last visit a few months ago was a little underwhelming.

Food is always good, pleasant staff and great atmosphere. My best friend had her wedding ceremony here and it was a wonderful experience. I know she would agree.

The food decent--not great, not bad--but on a Friday night, it was dead. My wife and I had desert while they were cleaning. The waitress did her best though.
