I dont think I have ever had a dining experience start so well and then go so south so quickly. We went to the bar on a Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm to enjoy a night off from parenting with a couple we are friends with. My wife and I arrived first, and our bartender Kristen (I believe) was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. By the time our friends arrived, a new bartender started serving us, a young and a bit ditzy but very nice. We ordered three appetizers and then I asked for a round of shots, and she recommended one we tried and enjoyed. I then asked for a seltzer water and then a bourbon shot for me and my friend. At this point we were all feeling loose and laughing and enjoying ourselves, but were anything but rowdy. A jerry curl rocking barback or manager gets our bartenders attention, whispers something to her, she nods, and after that she never asked if we wanted another refill at all. So we were obviously flagged. After about six drinks in two hours time. Are you serious? To add insult to the injured pride, we ask to be seated to eat in the bar area since it was warm out and I didnt feel like sweating in my food. Our waitress, Kate, was a nightmare. Our wives asked for an extra minute to decide what to eat, and she practically stormed off. I look over my shoulder and she is tight lipped whispering to one of the other servers rolls her eyes and motions over to our table. She was unpleasant for the rest of the dining experience, short on soeech and quick to get us up and out. I cant remember the last time I was this upset with the service fromna waitress. We were obviously not young, thin, or rich enough for their taste at this place, something I should have picked up on by the style of shorts they make the female bartenders wear, effectively rammed up their backsides. Giving two stars for efforts and congeniality of the first two bartenders and the quality of the food which was pretty good, but the service ruined this experience.

Absolutely horrible staff. My close friends and I arrived at red rock at 840pm without little lap dog. We then took the dock outside of their fence so that the dog can do its business. The second we walked back in we were pushed by the bouncer and told that we cant come back in. Then we asked what time are dogs not allowed to be here? Our answer from them was 8pm, spoke to another bouncer and he says 1030pm on weekends and then the waitress says 9pm. Clearly its all bs and the fact that they denied a service dog will result in a lawful act on our part. Clearly if youre not one to care about professionalism then by all means go there. If you are one to go to a proper place and not run by goofballs then go elsewhere. Pathetic.

1 star for beautiful buiding & decor, 2 stars for location. Food was bad! Risotto "Lobster" Lollipops, Wheres the lobster? Just call it what it is Risotto lollipops or rice ball on a stick. Duck appetizer was ok, shredded duck over tater tots with cheese. Overpriced & underwhelming. Holiday sandwich had a weird aftertaste. Got sick that evening! Man at bar assumed to work there wouldnt leave me alone about my thoughts on the food and drink. Now you know. I went out with my hubby and an unwelcomed interviewer. Bartender was pleasant. Will not be back. Shame, beautiful restaurant.

It is very nice place. On my first visit, I sat at the bar and was watching football for several hours. I didnt speak to anyone since I was alone. Around 12:30 AM, security came up to me and told me to come with them. They told me that a member of the wait staff said I was rude and disrespectful to them. I told them that there must be a mistake since I havent spoken to anyone except the bartender, who was very nice. They gave me no explanation and told me I must go. How could security make such a blunder? I dont know but I wont come back.

This place was rebuilt from another bar which wasnt that good. The general shape is the same but its all new inside, and let me tell you, the food I had for lunch was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken tacos, girlfriend had the veggie burger, and both were amazing. Will definitely go again, although it is on the pricey side

Place is awful. Have to wait 30 minutes for a drink and the door men are miserable. Got kicked out for something someone else did bc the bouncers are incompetent and only have a job bc theyre big. I would not suggest this place to anyone unless they are planning to stand in a still circle the entire night.

Sat down and was told if we were ordering food we could order from a server but if we were just doing drinks we had to fetch them from the bar. There wasnt consensus at our table if we were going to snack on anything so the server was pretty much like, fend for yourself and walked away.

Roof deck and outdoor area is nice, but very crammed locale when crowded. The crowd gets a bit bro after 10, otherwise youll find regulars here- good place to hit in town before the sun goes down for sure. Decent if a bit high priced lunches, good happy hour specials.

So my wife asked if there was a place in Red Bank to hang outside, have a cocktail and enjoy the evening. The outside space is cool. The second level is pretty cool. BOOM! The third level adds an incredible opportunity to watch the sun sink into the Navesink.

I liked it when it was Brannigans, but I love it now. The food is fantastic, some of the best fries in the area, and the drinks are well priced and well made. Typically, this is the bar I go to when I go out. Oh, and the rooftop area offers an awesome view.

Ate at the bar at 3pm. Service was very good. Martini was perfect, both of them. The lamb burger was awsome. French fries were too soggy. A.lot.of repeat customers. I would have to eat there again to give it another star or take one away.

This place has a great layout, with 2 outside bars including a rooftop deck bar, but they allow smoking in the outdoor bars, and it really detracts from the experience because it just becomes a smoking gallery.

We sat outside, cute bar out there. I ordered some duck tater tots that were so delicious! Very friendly hostess and servers. Id definitely come back to check out the inside as well.

I want to like Red Rock! Very disappointing the two times Ive been so far. Service is abysmal, slow. Walked out. Only go if you have time or are pushy up at the bar for drinks.

Trendy place with tons of outdoor seating on the multi terraced patio-deck. Views of the Navesink River. Very good modern American bat menu. Asian pork belly tacos were great!
