This rating is given based on my overall experience with this venue based on similar locations. I would classify Ollie Gators as a budget minded bar food stop ranging in the $10 per plate range with alcoholic drinks being $3+. Ive been coming here for years off and on and over the years theres one thing that comes to mind about Ollies, consistency. Ive consistently had decent service, decent food, and a decent atmosphere. Nothing about Ollies stands out, its not really meant to. Ollies is a local bar that also serves decent food. The interior is packed with sports stuff and they offer a few different TV channels usually playing a variety of sports. The beer list is not huge, but there are always a few good crafts in bottles and tap, and there are well drink and PBR options for those wanting to save some money. They also offer 22 ounce pours for the beer. Ive mostly had the chicken and burger items from the menu and theyve all been good. Their "Gator Bites" - boneless wings - dont taste frozen, they taste like they were cooked on the spot. They have a variety of cool burgers and theyre sized good for the quality and price. Ive never had to send back any food that Ive ordered here - Ive enjoyed every bit. Ollies is a place to go grab a quick bar food meal. Boneless wings, burgers, and the like. It wont impress you but the place isnt intimidating and neither is the crowd that goes there. Worth a stop if youre looking for a rather cheap place to eat without being bad quality.

Im not a fan of me having to pull the tail shell off in shrimp dishes and thought that would keep me away. It didnt. The food is very good and because there are few creole/cajun restaurants in my area we went back and happy we did. There are several non cajun entrees things on the menu to choose. I asked for plenty of rice and got it with the Etouffe. Delicious! Shrimp and crab were plentiful and tasty in the Quesadilla. Buffalo chicken soup was good but had very little, if any, chicken. I would order again and hope for more chicken. We have lived near this place for more than 20 years but had never been there in all those years because it is described as a a pub and there isnt really anything to hint that it is creole other than the picture of Gator. I never put two and two together for the link.The first time we were there we sat off the bar but now since we realize they have a small dining room, we prefer that because it has more of a restaurant feel. The is revised review and I upped the star rating. The kitchen is very strong and the chef top notch. We will be back.

Love this place. People are great. I always get great service. Beer is replenished almost immediately after your last sip. All of the bar tenders are on top of the work load. Cooks are great. Jon might be a kook, but hes great. This guy dennis always has the dishes clean. Great food! I never had a bad bite. Best bar in the Berlin, NJ. Better than rack and mack. Better than otts and potts. Eat at ollies! Take the bite from the gator.

We have recently been there. We went there for a very last pint, coming from New York City. We had a very good stay, great choice of IPAs, cheap prices and the Jukebox was filled with 57 songs of Rammstein. Yeah, the atmosphere was hospitable and we felt very welcome. Especially Lisa was convincingly doing her job and took care about the guests. Highly recommended. Chears

Our second visit here. We remembered stopping by about 2 years ago, and because the service was great, we wanted to go back. This time, once again, service was great, food was good and we all enjoyed ourselves. Great place for decent bar style food but with some unique menu items. Lots of variety.

Half price apps after 10 or 11, beer specials when philly teams are playing, and a generally lax atmosphere. the back room feels detached, but is getting better as they decorate and add TVs. Service is always friendly and about as quick as you can expect, depending how crowded it is.

We have been going here for years! Its the "Cheers" of the area. The staff are friendly and even know your name! Its great for an adult night out and for a family dinner. Wednesdays Family Nights are especially great with the face painting and balloons.

I ordered a BLT. It was piled high with huge strips of thick bacon, like 80% bacon and 20% sandwich. I cried literal tears of joy. Or maybe that was the sodium spike in my blood stream, who knows. It was amazing.

Friendly staff and pretty good food. Snapper soup was delicious. Even though its a pub/bar they are eco-friendly with weekly activities and monthly coloring contests for kids.
