My wife and I had dinner here for the first time, on a Saturday night in January 2017. My wife ordered linguini with clams, and I ordered penne pasta with veggies. The food was good, but I would not recommend that penne with veggies dish, since it is not one of the specialties of the house, and it was not special. We also had cream of asparagus soup and a clams casino appetizer, both very enjoyable. One of us had a cocktail, and we both had nice desserts including a delicious Napoleon. Portions are larger than average. We paid $94 plus tip for the dinner. The building is attractive, new, large, modern and well-appointed. Parking is well laid-out. We were there at 7pm on a Saturday and the place was full with people, but not overflowing. Our complaints involve the staff. The hosts at the front desk (a middle-aged man and woman) were unfriendly, unsmiling, uncommunicative and gruff. They paid little attention to me, and there was no eye contact. They seemed way too busy, like uncomfortably and unnaturally too busy, like they wanted to impress you with their busy-ness. The arrival experience was unpleasant, and this was the first hint that the atmosphere in the restaurant is frenetic and zany. It seems that all the staff is rushing around, and the vibe in the restaurant seemed pressured, joyless. Granted, it was a busy Saturday night, so everybody needs to be on their toes, but I go to tons of restaurants in tons of situations, and this place struck me as odd, in terms of this unpleasant rush-rush atmosphere. Our waiter was a little nicer than the host and hostess, but he too was overly quick and curt, and unsmiling. This seems like a large, high volume, mass-market type of restaurant similar to a Cheescake Factory. Move em in, move em out. The building is a perfect, gleaming, custom-designed palace of a restaurant. But something is wrong here, because of the staff, and thats why I do not recommend this restaurant.

Went for an anniversary dinner. Great waiter in Frankie. Got the $50 surf and turf. Asked for medium rare on my steak, got in my estimation medium. Told Frankie, he graciously got the General Manager, who gave a cursory glance at my steak and pronounced it was medium rare and walked away. Both the lobster and steak were not of a quality I would recommend. A merlot "sauce" was poured over my steak so any steak flavor there might have been there was gone. Have been going to Filomenas for years because of the quality. To lose my business because of an uncaring General Manager seems sad. Then again maybe thats why the dining room wasnt full as it used to be.

I love dinning at Filomenas Restaurant in W. Berlin, N.J., the food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and provide great service. Always a new experience at Filomenas Restaurant, also the bands are very good packing the dance floor after dinner. Dont forget to try lunch as they always seem to have some special. Also, they cater to all private parties,corporate functions or what ever your need is. I highly recommend Filomenas Restaurant, a complete and wonderful dinning experience !!

Went to Filimenas due to high recommendations. My dad was underwhelmed with the size of the portion especially when his Valentines Day special looked like it came from Red Lobster and was $50 for his meal. The hostess was rude and didnt even crack a smile. Not very pleasant. Definitely will not be returning...#suckyvdaymeal

Most times awesome. Farm week, a few glitches. Meals not complete as to description. Drinks change taste each time served. A nod though to Alexander, not our server but was more than helpful without asking . A separate tip was worth it. Good man.

The filet was excellent. In my opinion, juicier and more tender than some top of the line steakhouses in the area. My only suggestion would be to tone down the amount of seafood on the appetizer menu and offer some other options.

The Happy Hour choices are great! HH goes from 3:30-6:30. Very good quality food at a reasonable price. Definitely check this place out. I look forward to going back to try their pizza and stuffed long hots.

Too much garlic for me. The smell is overwhelming and overpowering. Could not get past the smell. Too much garlic hides the true flavor of food. I did not enjoy it at all.
