Edit (07/18/17): We used to love Stillwells, but recent experiences have been different. Staff turnover has lead to impersonal attention and inconsistent scoop sizes, which is disappointing for a store that replies on its large portions to remain exclusive. Original review: We love Stillwells. Weve been coming here for about 5 years and live the ice cream and the generous scoop sizes. The sizes of ice cream have spoiled us to when we are traveling and get ice cream somewhere else, we are almost always disappointed! We love to bring friends here too. Its great to get a scoop and walk around the Exeter River catching the beautiful scenery.

Deceptive sizes - I asked for a kiddie without looking at their sizing chart and saw them topping off the cone with two large scoops. I had to ask them to remove the second scoop and it was still bigger than what I wanted, and they didnt offer a partial refund. There are TWO sizes smaller than a kiddie which I think is what makes it deceptive. Every shop I have ever been to calls their smallest size a kiddie. Stupid to be upset over too much ice cream perhaps but it wasnt what I expected or thought I was asking for, and I paid too much. The ice cream itself was good.

Best ice cream around and huge portions for a great price! Love this place. Update 4/7/17: Went there again tonight and they changed the prices and we got this (both are supposed to be size "Baby"). Pretty disappointed that theres so much variation between scoopers, not to mention the price change. Prices now dont include tax, which makes for awkward change. Id rather they just raise prices $0.25 or $0.50 to include tax and make an even number for change. Stillwells, please reconsider this. We still love your ice cream!

Αwesome ice cream from Richardsons Farms. The best mocha chip I have ever had on the east coast if I may say so. I used to take the hour plus long ride to go to the farm in Middleton, MA but since Stillwells opened I can enjoy the same quality, shorter lines and great service in my own town.

Went in for ice cream. Ordered a kiddie size twist soft serve in a dish with peanut butter sauce and cool whip. Got twist with caramel with no peanut butter sauce and no cool whip. The price is very reasonable. Staff is rude and snotty. Will not be going back again.

Many flavors to choose from for the hard ice-cream. Grateful they started selling soft serve as well, since last year. Ice-cream tastes great! Price are a little high, but you get pretty good serving sizes. Just wish the inside was bigger and handicap accessible.

Always generous portions. Kids love it, it tastes great, and a reasonable price for what you get. Nice treat for the family or even just you and the one you love on a nice warm summers evening (though still pretty tasty in the winter as well)...

Great selection of flavors. Great prices and amazing portions. Seriously, dont order a large unless youre ready for a lot of ice cream. Can get a little crowded on hot summer afternoons, but its easily worth the wait.

Fantastic ice cream for a fantastic price. The size names dont correspond to what you get at all. They say "baby" or "small" but tha5s 1 or 2 scoops respectively. Dont even try the large without a dish.
