Fix your damn door! How hard is it to get a front door that doesnt slam shut like a gun going off and annoy every patron in your tiny place every time somebody walks in? Its insane! Hours: The only reason theyre getting a second star---theyre usually open when Im hungry and still serving breakfast. Food: Okay---standard breakfast affair. Dont expect anything special, or for it to be cooked as you ordered. I eat here because Dover is small and its only here or 2 Home Cooks (much better, but slightly more $/amount of food). Eggs here are dry and bland; basically order an omelet or nothing, as at least you get quantity. No restaurant cook should ever put syrup on my french toast for me. Thats gross and---just maybe---I dont want my french toast drowned in syrup every time. Point is, I can decide for myself as an adult. Also, no butter, whipped cream, cinnamon, sugar, or anything? Just toast covered in syrup and ice cold strawberries straight from the freezer? Really, really, lame. Service: Awful, always. This isnt based on "one bad experience"; Ive lived here for 7 years and its always the same with a variety of the waitresses. Ive been interrupted bluntly in the middle of speaking with my wife b/c the waitress forgot my order. I run out of coffee (b/c the mugs are tiny!). I almost never get my coffee refilled and it never ceases to simply amaze. Its breakfast, not engineering. I recommend refilling it yourself unless you want to wait 10 minutes. I also get coffee without milk/cream and have to ask almost every time! I also get the wrong order on a sizable fraction of visits with no obvious explanation except incompetence. The waitress will forget you and/or rush you out, as happened this past week. She didnt come over once after dropping off the food except to drop the check, then bugged me for my card, then came and waited for me to take it out and give it to her. We werent there long at all and it was normal business hours. Needless to say, extremely rude and inexcusable for a server (which I was for 5 years once upon a time).

Only ate breakfast here once and vowed never to return. Made the mistake of bringing an out of town friend from Connecticut to sample Dover cuisine and ended up here. The overpriced omelet I ordered consisted of a thin slice of bologna diced and mixed into a scrambled egg, then squirted on top from a bottle of Cheez Whiz. Some home fries and a piece of toast tossed in. No deal here. Omelet was pretty bad. What amazes me is this place is consistently standing room only. What are others seeing that Im not?

Went to this place with my wife. Found a table coffee was room temp we had to ask for silverware and waitress never came back to our table so we could ask for straws for our water. We ordered when our room temp coffee was brought to us and after waiting 20 mins and still the waitress hadnt been by to see if we need a refill or a warm up we heard the table of 5 complain that they had been waiting over 25 mins for their food thats when my wife and I decided it was time to go

Best breakfast ever. The Staff is super nice and always ready to help with any facts about Dover or the menu . The homemade bread is a must and the ham and eggs are unbelievable. If you stay for lunch their burger is one of the best ever, but my favorite is the BLT .
