Looking for good old fashioned food? Youve got it at the Mattapoisett Diner! My husband (almost) always has their ham & cheese omelette, while I always have a hard time deciding. For breakfast, their pancakes are the best and sausage cannot be better anywhere. For lunch I love their Thanksgiving Turkey Wrap with fresh roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. YUMM! Im getting hungry now just thinking about it.

What a neat classic diner, with just a few booths and about a dozen stools along the counter. It also has attractive original artwork of local scenes. The food is quite good - my kid DEVOURED the Hawaiian burger with bacon and cheese, and I thoroughly enjoyed the best Monte Cristo I ever had. Tasty frappes to wash it all down. Always worth a stop. Good prices and always friendly service, too.

Matt has done a great job turning this place around. Same quality and menu selection as soon at Jakes and at the Courtyard. There is usually a wait for breakfast on the weekends and lunch can get pretty busy too. All of this a good sign. Its back to being a favorite spot for locals to hang out.

Workers are allowed to come in High off Acid Abby (prep cook), steal and cook expired food. Matt Gamache the owner denied FMLA to another worker. Than was told by the LABOR BOARD to rehire him. Only for them to return to work to be harassed . DONT GO TO A PLACE WITH NO MORALS or ETHICS.
