Great Lunch Spot. I enjoy eating at Moritomo. The lunch specials are very reasonable, but dinner can be expensive. The hibachi entrees are tasty and prepared with a good show depending on which cook you get. The table menu has a great variety, and I always enjoy my meal. The service is typically really good, and the owners are quite friendly. They nickel and dime you to death at times if you’re not careful, charging $2 for fountain drinks that do not include refills and hitting you with a fee for substitutes of food items even when you have a food allergy. Their portions have also shrunk over the past year or so. Despite these negative aspects, it’s one of my favorite places to eat in Concord.

As a professional Sushi enthusiast, this place is most definitely my favorite sushi place Ive ever been to. Amazing rolls (Simka, Stella, Eel avocado, Hamachi, Sake, Ika Sashimi, Just to name a few items that are the favorites.) The prices are fair to the amazing quality of the fresh fish, and the staff and waitresses are amazing, not to mention the extremely friendly chefs at the sushi bar. I bring all my friends here and I recommend this place to everyone. A++++++

This place offers food as youd expect from a standard American Asian restaurant, decent, but nothing amazing, but what I love about this place is the small rooms they have. Concord is centrally located so twice a year a couple of my long distance friends and I meet up there so we can close the little mini room door and have our own private room for lunch. The staff is always very friendly and very sensitive and accommodating to my friends celiacs food restrictions.

Took my girlfriend for a special b-day dinner and the service was absolutely horrible. They forgot our salads, my girlfriends dish didnt come out until 30 minutes after my meal arrived, etc. I wrote an email to the owner-manager and they never had the decency to get back to me. I called and the manager said he doesnt check the email. Why have a web site or email then??? The manager just said that "things happen" . We wll never go back here.

Moritomos when in Concord has always been our favorite...but when in Portsmouth be sure to try Shio. Sherri and Alvin formerly of Moritomos have opened their new restaurant on Lafayette Road/Route 1 just after Water Country in a mall area. Food is excellent, service attentive and polite. Bento boxes are excellent as well is the fresh, fresh, sushi & sashimi. Our goal is to work our way through the menu, and will enjoy every minute of it.

Such a great place to grab some good food! It is a little pricey for dinner and the seems the only difference between lunch and dinner is a small portion size. However we love this place for sushi to hibachi and its great! Only other complaint is during the lunch hour the staff tends to stand right over your should staring and waiting for your stop drinking or eating in which they grab your stuff then push you on your way.

Best Sushi you can find! We have had sushi all over the states and internationally and Moritomo is one of our absolute favorites. Delicious food and fantastic service all the way around! These guys and gals always go above and beyond to make sure your food is to your liking and youre having a wonderful time. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this restaurant and the people who work there!!!!

It is such a pleasure having the cooks do tricks and prepare the food in front of you and I imagine this place being perfect for the family when celebrating a special occasion. The decor and service makes you feel like you will spend over $20/person but luckily the meals are reasonably priced. The food quality was perfect and while I have not tried their sushi, the other reviews seem to praise it.

Good sushi, though Ive recently become a bit more fond of the sushi at Ichiban. However, this is an all around great restaurant, whereas Ichiban, while they make some great rolls, has very slow and less helpful service, while moritomo does a very nice job with all of the dishes Ive tried, and has great service even when crowded. Ive never left here disappointed, and theyve been very accommodating.

If you are not dressed to the nines going in there-- they will put you by the table by the bathroom door. They save the seating for the better dressed regulars. Waitresses are real pushy--especially with the desert! The sushi is real good though but a bit expensive. Mixed drinks are small and real light on the alcohol. This Place used to be awesome---what happened??

I have had the opportunity to visit Japan on a number of occasions, and I also travel quite a bit in the US and always search out the local sushi establishments. I can say that the quality of the sushi at Morimoto is excellent. In addition the seating area has a very authentic feel to it, and the hospitaility and service are top notch. I highly recommend it!

Best sushi in the area!! I have a gluten and a dairy allergy and they were very knowledgeable about both! They assured me their sushi (besides things that are fried) are gluten free and for once at a restaurant I didnt get sick! They were careful with cross contamination, and their sushi is absolutely delicious! :)

My Family and I went to Morimmoto yesterday for a nice dinner out. The food was fantastic and I havent stopped talking about the spectacular sushi. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were approached with excellent service and an overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. I cant wait to go back.

Excellent place. We got both Hibachi and Sushi and everything was delicious. The Hibachi chef was impressive with his entertaining skills and the service was attentive and fast. We had a lovely time. Only downside was that I did find them to be a little slow refilling my water. But otherwise it was great!

My friends and I have been going to Moritomo for near 14 years.....Never have I had a bad experience there!! Food is always GREAT..... as well as the service!! It can be a little bit on the pricey side at times, but Ive eaten sushi in several different cities and can say they are the BEST hands down !!

Best sushi in Concord and, haven eaten at many a sushi restaurant around the country, they rank well nationally as far as i am concerned! I get greeted by name when i come in and take out is always great too. Hibachi experience is fun but i prefer their sushi (and a scorpion bowl now and then) ;-)

Very nice staff. Seating can be a little tight just so you know. Menu has a lot to offer and there are a lot of sushi choices, as well as entrees and appetizers. Food is good, not the most authentic Japanese food Ive had (I lived in Japan for 10 years) but its good and we had a nice dinner.

This is my husband and my spot for great Japanese food. We go in regularly and order off the sushi menu. My husband has had the beef teryaki which is always incredible and i usually order the unagi-don which I cant get enough of. Everything is always amazing. Well worth the price.
