The owner is the waiter, cook and cashier and does an excellent job at all aspects. The moment you walk in the aroma of good bbq hits you and you anticipate whats to come. I got baby back ribs with potato salad. The ribs were excellent and so was the potato salad. I was part of a party of eight and the owner brought us all a slice of sweet potato pie with ice cream. The pie was still warm and it was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant if you come to Reno.

Looking for BBQ everytime I come up. Saw this place last time.., I wish I had gone then! Three of us ordered different things and shared. I didnt want to share the ribs. What a surprise for all of us. Mesquite smoked ribs, brisket (outstanding), sausage was delicious and chicken. Great Coal Slaw! As I walked out I said, "If I werent so full, Id go back in again!" Really nice owner/chef. Im going back - I can hardly wait.

Car was losing power on Moana so I slid RIGHT IN FRONT OF THIS PLACE just in the nick of time for the car to die on me. What a blessing!! I called AAA and walked in and ordered pork ribs which were delicious and flavorful. The potato wedges were delicious also and seasoned perfectly. Excellent service! Thank You!

I wouldnt waste my money. This food is oven cooked with liquid smoke. I smoke meats all the time and this is not it. The potato salad and baked beans are not tasty. The ribs are small. There are plenty of place in town. Brothers bbq and BK CHAR B QUE are better than this homemade baked stuff with no rub

The brisket and hot sausage plate is awesome. Had it twice and not disappointed at all. Small restaurant has a close family feel. The owner is a multi-tasker that cares about his restaurant, customers and food. Highly recommend if you want to get away from all those franchised places.

One of the best BBQ places in town. Although no where close to the BBQ you can find in the south. Reasonable prices. The owner is really nice and provides excellent service. It is very thoughtful of them to provide "Finger Bowls", which I think is a must for all BBQ places.

Just had an awesome meal ! Dad had beef ribs , the special, I ordered the sampler. Had plenty left over for my son. Once you know its there its way easy to find. Great service, owner super nice . Loved it all. Well be back for sure

I was so excited when I saw this. Unfortunately I still have a Texas bbq craving. The meat was very tender like it was cooked in a crock pot. If you have had bbq in Texas you know this is not Texas bbq. Its ok just not Texas.

Best ceviche that Ive had in a long time. The little tacos were amazing as well. My kids are picky eaters and they ate everything. Its a little under developed but other than that the staff was great and so was the food!

The owner is a great guy. Everything on the menu is spectacular. The best BBQ chicken I have had in a restaurant. A unique spin on sweet potato pie as the potatoes are grilled. The sweet tea is spot on

The beef ribs were tasty - not the huge ribs you might find in Texas, but still delicious. Pork ribs were good too, as was the pulled pork. Brisket was a little dry.
