Fantastic barbecue! My favorite item on the menu is the rib eye paired with their chili beans. Ive never left disappointed. The staff is always friendly and theyre a lot of fun for birthdays. One of the waiters balanced a glass on my head and poured water into it blindfolded. I thought it was a joke and he was just going to pour it all over me. They have an outstanding Farmers Market presence, too! Youll see the line down the block on any given Thursday but it moves quickly.

I had their food on a Thursday night at the farmers market and it was amazing. The prices are way better than the restaurant prices and it was an amazing experience to hear those gentlemen sing "God bless america" when the market opened. You cant really go wrong with any of the food, but make sure to join the line early (5.30ish) as if quickly gets very long

Nice place, and the service was good. The bartender was very friendly, and the atmosphere was good. I ate the Baron of Higuera, a 1.5 pound hamburger. It was big and good, but not great. A little plain, not a lot of taste. Got a free t-shirt for eating it all in under half an hour.

I would reccomend you take visitors from out of town to this place. Once Id been a couple times I was over it, but for visitors its a really awesome place. great atmosphere and amazing portions. the steak is ok, nothing special. but the experience is really fun.

The food quality has gone down here, or maybe it was just me when I was in college. All food tasted good then. The food was heavy and fried. We got the turkey nuts and I remembered them tasting much better. Its pub food. Thats pretty much it.

Love eating here every time I drive up the coast. One of my favorite steak houses in the world....their clam chowder it the best in California!!!!!! Great food (I love their rib eye steak...Yummy!!!) with an after dinner drink included.

Good food! But it didnt live up to the amazing reputation that everybody gives it. Ive eaten here two or three times, and Ive never been very impressed. For a relatively expensive place to eat, the bathrooms remind me of a gas station.

I have eaten at all of their restaurants and I have to say the SLO location was very dissapointing. The service was terrible, the food did not live up to Mclintocks reputation. They should just make this a saloon and stop serving food.

Great place for BBQ or a good steak. I would always go here when my parents were in town while I was in college. Ribs are tender and steaks are cooked exactly how you order them. I try to get dinner here whenever I am in town.
