If it wasnt for the Oyster Bar I would have never ventured out to the Palace Station! Like what most of the reviewers have stated, the Palace Station is run down and looks like its got its life sucked out of it! Although, the Oyster Bar has breathed life back into the old forgotten place. Upon entering the Palace Station, the Oyster Bar sits right smack in the middle of the casino! Theres only seating for about 17 people so theres always a line and a long wait. The bf and I ended up waiting an hour to get seated and another hour for our food to arrive. Service was super slow since theres only one chef and one waitress handling everything. After looking at the menu, I ended up ordering the Palace Gumbo with a spice level of 6, and my bf ordered the Palace Pan Roast with spice level of 6. Upon devouring our meal since we were both starving, I had to stop myself because my gumbo was overwhelmingly spicy! At level 6 my mouth felt like it was on fire and I had to stop eating after every bite to drink water. This was probably the spiciest meal Ive ever had! Since I ordered a level 6 I seriously cant imagine how spicy a level 10 would be. Although for my bf who can actually take spicy food, he finished his entire bowl of Pan Roast without a complaint. I ended up taking a majority of my leftover gumbo home. I had to dilute the spices by adding water but it did the trick and tasted a lot more tolerable afterwards. Tip* Try coming during off hours to avoid the long lines! They are open 24 hours!

Oyster bar will forever remind me of the torture, a party of five of us, encountered in order to snag seats at the bar. Apparently arriving around 3-4:30am was the worst idea ever because its considered their "rush hour". Most of the guys stood in line for two hours with only 3-4hours of sleep from the previous night. Queenie and I chilled at the casino seats nearby... I honestly dont remember what we talked about for two hours. After we were seated, we ordered the oysters for HH price. It was AMAZING! Make sure to get them. PAN ROAST: Pricey but amazing!!! Its large enough to share with two people. JAMBALAYA: it was good but not as amazing as the pan roast. SERVICE: Big thumbs up to the chef. He was working his butt off. His sense of humor made my experience at Oyster bar pretty memorable. Tips on seafood poisoning: I learned this the hard way in Boston a year ago. Best to not eat shellfish on months that do not have the letter "r" in them.

Out of the many times Ive been to Vegas, Im so glad I finally made it out here to try their infamous pan roast. We got here around 12:30pm on a Friday and there was only one couple ahead of us; we ended up waiting in line for maybe 15 minutes, tops. Once we sat down, the food did take awhile as well but the cook will entertain you as they make all the dishes in front of you. I think we ended up being there for a good two hours? We had the gumbo and combo pan roast - both at a Level 7 spice. It was delicious but next time, we both agreed to get Level 5 spice so we can taste the flavors a bit more. Cant wait to come back!

I am writing this, praying that I will not be ill from the food. The service was friendly, but ridiculously slow, and the restaurant was far from full on a Tuesday night. $15 margaritas were just poured from a sickening sweet mix, the calamari was flavorless, and the risotto was inedible. I was here courtesy of a business expense account, so I was certainly not looking for a free meal. Gluey glumps of rice dispersed in a soup of seafood that was not fresh, and I had to spit out the lobster portion as it had definitely turned. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. The price was taken off our ticket, but I really just wanted a decent meal.

We come to the Oyster Bat at Harrahs whenever we are out here (I think Heather and I have been to Vegas five or six times together now) and we have always had a fantastic experience. The seafood is super fresh and the service is great. Get the grilled oysters. Even if you dont like them raw, you will like these. Cooked on the grill in their shell with garlic and Parmesan - delicious! I also have to say that Trent, one of the staff, has been here each time we have and he is always incredibly friendly and personable.

Lived up to the good reviews! I found this place from some pretty good reviews online. The wife and I stopped here after a show and we both really enjoyed ourselves! Shrimp cocktail were enormous and very tasty. She got the fish tacos and I had cajun scallops, both were excellent. Service was pretty good but it did seem like the servers had too many tables. Not their fault,of course. Very enjoyable meal, reasonable prices, I am sure we will stop again sometime.

Horrible service from our waiter. Had fish and chips. The fries sat way too long before service and coleslaw was moldy tasting. Clam chowder saltly. Nothing special about the food at all. Not impressed!! Way over priced for the quality of the food! Glad I didnt order an expensive dish. We complained about our waiter and the host laughed and said Oh Richard.. I will let the manager know again... Not the cleanest place either. Never will go back.

The Pan Roast here is so good, its creamy, love the tomatoe base soup and they are not stingy with the seafood. They sure pack it in your bowl well. The only problem I have with this place is that it only has I believe 10 or 15 bar seating. So if youre really hungry this is not the place for you. This place is always busy and theres an expected wait for 1-2 hour Other then that i still enjoy eating here.

This place is absolutely the best seafood in Vegas. Ive eaten at Triple A, 4 Diamond rated restaurants and I would choose this place over those anytime! Ramondo, chef, is awesome and makes your dining experience that much better. This is a must stop in Vegas. And to the reviewer who said the bar only seats 15 max, she cant count, bar sits about 30 people. We didnt have a wait.

Server was nice, service overall was good, clam chowder was good, but thats where it all ends, cook is loud, but his dishes needs work, ordered salmon fillet, portion of fish was very small for $32, other dishes were average but prices were designed for drunken tourists, disappointed, went there with high hopes with the other reviews.

We loved it. We were the third or fourth customers to be seated for lunch. We sat at the bar. We ordered grilled oysters (killer), cioppino (more killer) and blackened shrimp (very good, but not as good as the other two). It rivals Dragos in NOLA! This is a "must" for us on every future trip to Vegas.

"Shrimp cocktail" was shrimpy. 4 shrimp for $20 with a dash of store-bought sauce. Seafood was obviously frozen for too long prior. Oysters were small and flavorless. It was upsetting to see an overall 4-star rating and go through such a sub-par experience in all aspects. Not worth a visit.
