Fabulous. The atmosphere is wonderful. The people are friendly and truly know the meaning of hospitality. The trout was the best I have ever had and the soup is homemade so yummy. The coleslaw had interesting twist that was delicious. Dont miss the opportunity it is a delightful experience.

Why would you go to Rupert, Idaho? For the Halibut Fish and Chips. As it says at the register, dont look for a menu. If it isnt on the wall, they dont serve it. I try and find interesting local places to eat when I am on the road. This is one of better ones.

Only problem with this restaurant is that it is too far away! We go there often for superb Fish and Chips. Next best thing to the shop on the corner when we lived in England.
