I unfortunately chose this restaurant for dinner about a week ago and I came away thoroughly disgusted by the experience. Our party of three was seated relatively quickly and our order was also promptly taken - so far, so good. We ordered fried dumplings, egg drop soup, beef with vegetables, duck, and a fish. Within ten minutes, the soup, beef & vegetables, and duck were at our table, but here the problems began. For the soup, which arrived first, we requested that a bottle of vinegar be brought to the table because it was almost completely tasteless. The first waiter we asked nodded, left...and apparently ignored us, as he went about his business at all the tables around us. As the beef & vegetables and duck were brought to our table by another waiter, we asked HIM to bring us some vinegar, which he did later, but by that time the soup was cold. We started on the main dishes, but had to wait about another ten minutes before any rice was served. The beef and vegetables was acceptable, but not great - in particular, the vegetables tasted old and a little tough. Like the duck, it was heavily seasoned with MSG and fried in too much oil. Did I mention that we ordered fried dumplings? In any restaurant of even decent quality, those ought to be served first, but it wasnt until about half an hour into the meal that somebody even came and inquired whether we still wanted them. When we replied that we didnt, we were scolded by the waitress, who claimed that the dumplings needed to be cooked slowly for them to be prepared properly. If anybody out there is familiar with Chinese food, youre probably either shaking your head or laughing out loud, because thats a bunch of crap. The dumplings ought to be quickly fried in hot oil to achieve a nice, crispy texture. When the dumplings arrived after we had declared that we didnt want them, they were terrible - the skins were chewy and the insides tasted like they were made of week-old chicken and cabbage. At long last, the fish finally arrived, and as this was supposed to be a seafood restaurant, we had some scant hope that it could salvage the meal. Not likely. The fish was overcooked, completely lacking in flavor and having an almost mushy texture. Hoping to escape as quickly as possible, we tried to find somebody to bring us the check. Much like our earlier experience with the vinegar, we asked somebody to bring us the check, and we waited. And waited...and waited. After about fifteen minutes, another man finally came over and asked if we were ready for the check! Following a very curt yes, he brought it over, and informed us that a fifteen percent gratuity was already included in the bill! After food and service like we received, they should have been lucky to receive anything over a goose egg. In conclusion, I must say that if youre looking for good Chinese food in Las Vegas, Chinatown isnt the worst place to begin looking. If you value your time, taste buds, and wallet, however, please avoid this place like the plague.

Came to Las Vegas from out of state for vacation. I got a dining gift card to spend at any of the participating restaurants and I found this restaurant on that list. It said on the website that a minimum of $50 was required before I can apply $25 from my gift card towards the bill. I spend a total of $67 on food there and I even showed one of the employees that I was using this credit towards the bill. She went and asked someone else if it was ok and she validated it, saying to us that they would apply the $25 to our bill. Then they come out with our tab and they did not apply the $25 off so I ask why and a guy tells us they cant give us that credit because the lobsters we bought was on special. Im like, well if that was the case then why didnt they write that on the website that on special deals are excluded.. Or why didnt the waitress who validated our gift card explain to us that they couldnt accept it? She said it was ok and once she validated it then I lose that $25. The guy says that the waitress is new and didnt know so he will credit back the $25 to my gift card and for me to pay cash instead. Im like, no because Im out of town and I dont have time to keep coming back to use up this gift card. He says he will only discount 15% and Im like seriously? So my husband tells him to just discount $20 off our bill and we will pay the rest. Only a few dollars difference and theyre going to make a huge deal out of it. Lets just say, I was very pissed... Pretty much ruined my night! No one even came by to give us water refills until when we were ready to pay for our tab. This is my first time making a complaint on Google Review, but I will never return to this restaurant ever again. So unprofessional and bad customer service.

We had a horrible dining experience in this place! This is my first time to write a review just because people deserve to know that this place lacks in customer service. The food was actually flavorful, the people just lack pleasing personality, all three servers.First, they hurriedly wanted us to place our order considering it was our first time to dine here and we are not familiar with their menu. Second, there was a distracting reaction from the service crew when we requested for more spoons, water and tissue. By the way, the water came when we were almost done eating. They gave us 3 menus when there were more than 10 of us. A friend was almost hit with a sizzling plate coz the server passed it in front of his face without warning. Another friend got dimsum drippings because it was passed beside her without excuse. The server even frowned when told about what he did. It was definitely my worst dining experience in a restaurant!

The prices do not match the quality and services that my family had experienced here. Granted there were 10 of us. We only ordered 7 items and three have failed to show. Our food came before the drinks. The spoon for the soups smelled like Clorox. Bits of pieces of food were still on the plates and bowls. Random food showed up at our table and one of our orders went to another table. Service is just horrible. Unfortunately they still charged us for the mandatory 15% tip. With what we have experienced, I dont understand how this place is still in business. Servers were eating while they were serving. I think that should be brought up to the big boss. To sum it up. Foods fine, service is terrible.

I been eating at this restaurant many times, and every time has been an ordeal. From spoiled food, to bad service. But the worst has been that in two occasions there were pieces of steel scrubs in the Moo Shoo Pork I ordered. Now, this were times when I actually noticed pieces of metal in my food. There are probably times when I actually digested steel pieces without realizing it. The last time I was there and found a piece of steel scrub, I called the manager, and his argument was that it came from the market where they buy their vegetables. How retarded is that? If any one else has found debris in their food at this restaurant, they would know what am talking about. This is a food hazard Palace.
