So I had a few friends talk me into getting some food from Happy Family. We order the food and when we receive it everyone noticed that there was pork in the fired rice. I first looked back at the menu because maybe I had ordered something wrong. Nope the menu said nothing about pork in the fried rice. I call the location and they advice that they put pork in all the fired rice unless you ask them not to do so. WOW! I think. Ive ate at a lot of location and never had to say please no pork in the fried rice. So I call the location and they advise that they would replace the order. Well they bring me a box of fried rice. A BOX OF FRIED RICE! So I guess that I am suppose to take the sesame seed chicken I ordered off the top of the pork it is sitting on top of and feel good that I know have pork less fried rice. Do these people not understand that people have food allergies or religious beliefs? In the end the only thing that they could talk about was the loss that would take to replace anything further at this point. So you took my money and I don’t have the product that I paid for? Thanks for passing your losses over to your consumers! I guess Burger King would have been better because then I would have actually had it my way! I would not recommend this location to anyone who values their life as you may end up eating something you did not intend on buying in the first place. I never said hold the cat or dog so I guess I don’t know what is in this concoction at this point!!! Thanks for taking my money and then laughing in my face I guess. Jokes on me! Then you curse at us in Chinese! Am I being punked? I still waiting for Ashton Kusher to pop out the back seat of my car at this point……

The Chinese isnt terribly astounding so I can only give it 4 stars but I also ordered at close to closing time so Id have to say that a true rating would require an earlier order. The guy who was the only one working there diligently putting my order together was sweet and he gave me an eggroll complimentary because he had misread my order (Im sure hes not completely up on his reading English because I ordered donuts and he thought it was chicken nuggets lol) As for my donuts they were good but not the best Ive had and again this was late so Im sure I got the tail end of the state of their frying oil. I read another review that said that their fried rice came with pork all the time and it was required to not ask for it. I have to say most of the Chinese restaurants Ive been to and thats in more than one state, they always had pork in it. Maybe its because most restaurants do say "pork fried rice" but whatever. At least the place tried to rectify it by offering another order of fried rice and if they didnt get the size they wanted then they should have said how much they needed to have replaced when they called. At any rate, dont be discouraged from buying from here. If you do, pick it up because they have a cool mart there that has a variety of Asian foods that any westerner could ask for. I will go back there not only in the capacity of a restaurant but in shopping for various Asian goodies. Ill gladly rate again when I order food at a reasonable hour. Try it and decide for yourself. As for me 4 stars is earned for great service and prices and cool atmosphere with the mart there. ORDER ONLINE lol its unlike anything Ive done before! Its pretty damn cool. :p

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They took an hour to deliver the food, and Im only 2 miles from the location. I ordered the beef w/ broccoli and they brought me chicken with broccoli. When I called and asked them to correct it, my options were 2 free egg rolls next time, or wait another HOUR for them to bring me my correct food. When I demanded a refund, they told me no. They said I needed to wait 15 min to speak w/ a manager. So I said okay. I waited about 15 minutes and called back, the lady that answered the phone(same lady I spoke to the first time) told me I needed to wait another 10 minutes. I told her at this point, I would just like them to send me the correct food. She said no, manager will call you back. I asked her to please listen to me, that all I wanted was the food to be corrected. She said no, wait for manager and hung up on me! At this point I was very very upset. Then about 5 minutes later the manager (same lady Ive spoken with twice now) called back and said she has my food on its way. That I need to give back the chicken and broccoli, to get the beef & broccoli. When my food arrived ten minutes later a different young girl was very apologetic and asked why I was giving back the chicken and broccoli? I told her it was because your manager screamed at me and told me too. She said Im so sorry, shes stupid. WOW. Id rather starve than ever order from here again. Just dont do it.

Ease of Online Ordering - 5 out of 5 stars Delivery - 1.5 out of 5 stars (nice driver, took almost double the estimated delivery time) Food Taste/Quality - Eh. 2 out of 5 stars Order again? - NO I placed an order online, which was very easy and straight-forward. About 3 minutes later, I got a phone call saying that they were out of an appetizer and did I want something else instead. I said "No. Just take it off." No big deal. It happens. The estimated delivery time was 45 mins later (I ordered more than $40 of food, so not a big deal). An hour and fifteen minutes after the order was placed, the gentleman arrived. He was very nice and polite. The order still had the appetizer on it that should have been taken off. He gave me the difference in cash, which was fine. I open the bag and saw I was missing an order of crab rangoon. The only reason I didnt call and complain again was because the gentleman handed us a 2L of soda that we did not order. So, all total, I was shorted ~$3. Its not worth it for me to complain. As for the food, some of it was cold and lacked flavor. The fried items were not crispy. My sister liked her chicken egg foo yong, but Ive had better sesame chicken (not crispy and the sauce was thin without much flavor). All in all, everything was average and I did not receive everything I ordered. I will not order from this restaurant in the future, unfortunately.

I used there online ordering and was happy to see so many differnet things. I placed my order around 6 used to option to get it at a certin time i picked 7 so i could finish what i was doing. Its now almost 8 no food. I just got off the phone with them they were rude. I was calling for 15 mins before someone answered the phone. They told me 5 to 10 more mins so hopefully it will come soon but by now am so hungry that i could have made dinner by now. Also the food better be the best food i have eaten ever. If this wait is normal i will not be ordering again. just got my food a little before 8. its ok its warm not hot i know its january but it should not be cold a few mins after i start eatting. i got general tos shrimp an egg roll, rice, hot and sour soup and soda. the cons of the food didnt know the soup had tofu in it since theres not discription. shrimp is pretty good would be better if hot and had more sauce. the egg roll is mostly cabbage hardly any other vegggies or shrimp in it. i cant eat my rice its mushy and just a gross. and since there was not way to choose a soda i put in the notes that i wanted sprite or serra mist. they sent dr pepper neither my husband or i drink it so its a waste. and the only reason i added the soda was to get it to 15 dollars for delivery. i feel like i should have kept my 20 bucks and ate left overs.
