My family and I went in this evening shortly before 8. We were seated, asked for our drinks by the hostess and then when she returned we were ready to order. The hostess took our order then never returned with our childs milk. The waitress literally never even made eye contact let alone bothered to stop at our table. We sat there with 3 other tables while the cook, hostess and waitress chatted it up at the front desk. The one table was full of hungry kids and never received their food. Another couple came and was never greeted or gotten drinks and left after never being helped. The final table sat their loudly clankING their ice filled glasses, obviously needing a refill. Again no waitress to be found unless I went to break up their conversation. We left after waiting a long time for our food, obviously because the cook was upfront and not in the kitchen at all cooking. All this combined when I asked the hostess what the problem was she proceeds to yell at me that hes cooking my food right now, impossible since hes not even in the kitchen, but I digress and leave. So sad since we just moved here, are former perkins employees and wouldve been happy to have a familiar place to frequent. I will not be returning. I hope a manager actually reads this and makes some serious changes.

Whats is there to say ....?? Corporate chain dining. The same as the one you were in last week. the only thing different is the friendly young woman who takes your order. I was seated fast and my order taken by a friendly young woman. The food arrived quickly which was a little surprising. I ordered bacon and eggs, sunny side up, white toast and hash browns. For a meal served so fast .... why was it cold??? The eggs, cold.... the toast ( must have been warm at some point because the butter was melted), Cold ... Hash Browns, Cold ... and 2 strips of bacon that may have seen a microwave 3 or 4 hours before my arrival. If you are longing for a "Hot Breakfast" served cold you need to try this place. They have the "cold" thing down! But if you want a "HOT" breakfast, you may want to look elsewhere. Aug. 2016

If I could rate this with zero stars I would. We came through to take you grandmother to the airport. We came inside and were not greeted and the womans bathrroom was disgusting and not stocked. We where seated down and we got a highchair for my 1 year old daughter and it didnt have any buckles 2nd highchair broken buckles so we got the 3rd one and it worked! Next we ordered our food. Waited almost an hour while everyone else was getting their food before us! I had a hair in my potatoes and the pancakes where completely burnt! This is my 3rd bad experience eating in council bluffs. I will never eat in this town again.

Why drive to Omaha? Awesome place to go on Saturday and Sunday mornings for a perfectly cooked plate of pancakes, bacon, sausage and hash browns. 4 great syrup flavors. Delicious! The wife ordered the french toast one morning, said it was fabulous! And they give you so much of it, you cant hardly finish it.. could easily split it between 2 people. A lot of older folks are there often in large groups, apparently they know whats good.. Fast, friendly and clean! Havent ate dinner there yet..

The food was very good - as youd expect from a national chain. What made our visit so special was our server, Brayden. He memorized the order, even with a take-out order that was added on. He was very personable and inviting. We are traveling from Colorado to Minnesota, and having someone take an interest in us was a refreshing change. Thank you, and even though we already thanked Brayden please thank him again for us.

The folks there were nice...but my food came out half cold and the waitress asked me to scrape it on to a plate which she then reheated in the microwave (still cold). The bill was incorrect. Food quality was typical Perkins fare. Canned gravy and potatoes from a box. It is edible. Manager needs to retrain their very friendly staff on quality. Should have known from only a few cars in the lot at 6 on a Sunday.

The staff were yelling constantly and unaware that customers could hear them. They were inconsiderate to each other and upon realizing they were out of soup they attempted to tell us they could no longer serve it. Although, after being given half a bowl soup I was then told I could have a slice of pie on the house. The food itself was good but the staff were less than pleasing.

DOESNT DESERVE 1 STAR!!! I went in at 830am on a Sunday, it was a bit busy, maybe half full. There were about 6 waitresses working (using working loosely) standing at front counter laughing and joking would be more like it. No one even took my drink order. After about 5 minutes I picked up the menu, walked to the door, handed it off and left.

Good food. Our waitress abandoned us after dropping off the check, despite the fact we stayed another 45 minutes (we were waiting on someone). Hubby would have ordered pie and coffee but since she wouldnt stop,,even when motioned to, he skipped it. We were there late, so they wete not crowded or busy. Still, the food was very good.

The food was good. The service was alright. The kitchen staff was very loud and the kitchen was disgusting. Instead of yapping, they should pick up a broom and mop. Dining hall was clean, but thats where it ended. If the kitchen looks like that, whats their standard for the food? Hoping for no food poisoning.

Our server was prompt to take our order but that is the best I can say about our dining experience. Our food was cold turkey was extremely dry. Stuffing was stove top or some other box brand mac and cheese the same. Was so disappointed Ive had much better food at other perkins.

Food is inconsistent. The last couple of times we went it has been really bad. I cant see us returning. The pie is usually very good. We will stop to get pie to take home. The service is hit and miss as well. Also, the restroom have never been clean when I have been there.

This place can be hit or miss. Weve had excellent service, but then weve had not so good service. The food it comparable to similar restaurants. The issue we always seen to have is it takes forever. If youre in a hurry, you might want to pick someplace else to eat.

Great service! Made a comment to our server, Tyler.. (dark hair.. both servers were named Tyler) about loving the fried dill pickles and next thing I knew I had extras! Was great! Definite return visits planned.

I am traveling. Perkins is pretty consistent throughout the midwest. I always know that the food will be good and the service great. My expectations were met Thanks for a great place to relax, rest and eat.
