My wife & I come here all the time. The food is always consistent and the service is top notch. Its a small restaurant and does get busy in the evenings/peak hours. Their complementary salsa is some of the best in town and we love the fact that its happy hour all day/every day...$3 for a beer, margarita, sangria or a mojito....what more can you ask for? If youre looking for a local tex/mex restaurant that services quality food at reasonable prices with great customer services, Holy Frijoles is the place for you. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by Jose (manager) and rest assured, he’ll take good care of you!

A small neighborhood Mexican food place where weve had some good food and margaritas. However, lately, consistency has been an issue. The food is as good as which cook is there, the drinks as good as the one preparing them, and the service as good as the revolving door of servers. These are just more important in a small setting. The room temperature on our last visit with friends was almost as hot as our food. Were going to give them a while before our next visit to improve.

Food is decent. Service is inconsistent and a bit sultry. If your get more than one coke, they charge for each refill( is- 2.00 per can of soda). So- each person having two drinks makes the bill very high. I asked for some relief on this and the manager basically told us to take our business elsewhere. Overall, the prices are not cheap and you can get more for your money at EL Fenix. Skip this place- you will not be missing a thing..... Place is also a bit on the dirty side,,,,,

Every now and again I will go down to Holy Frijoles. The owner and his staff have been friendly and attentive. It is rather typical TexMex so the menu wont blow your socks off, but the food is as good or better than the chain stores and Id always rather support a local business man. Drinks are stiff and theres a decent beer selection. Only slight negative is its a smallish place so a private corner table just isnt going to happen. Definitely recommend highly.

This is a great (small) neighborhood tex/mex place to go. The drinks/food are great. My family of 4 go here often and enjoy the great service and food. We go to all the other places (Cocina/Fenix/Uncle Julios) and this place is still towards the top of our weekly Dinner list... This place is not for you if your expecting 4/5 star food/service however its very kid friendly and the drinks and food are all good.

This place is ok. The server was a little snotty, and the first thing I noticed was that they charged 2 dollars for one can of soda. The chips and salsa were good, but the actual food was a little too salty and the sides had no salt at all. Overall, food was over priced for what it was, and nothing stood out. Im not going to bother with this place again

We stopped because we had a coupon... But are so glad we did! The chips, salsa and bean dip were amazing. And the house margarita was delicious. We ordered several differed items off the menu and were pleased by all. The kids burger was a great deal for the little ones. We will definitely be back!

Not bad per se, just nothing special. The restaurant was clean, and the service was attentive. The food was the problem. Underwhelming flavors with a ubiquitous texture of slop throughout. I would suggest finding some place else.

Id heard about this place being pretty good, especially the Top Shelf Margaritas. Would have to agree..they were pretty tasty. The beef fajitas were also plentiful for one person. Will have to stop by there again.

The food here is great! The owners are very kind as well. We get take out here because the seating area is a bit depressing. Needs a cheap cosmetic makeover and better mood lighting/music.

Downhome Tex-Mex. Strong points were the bean spread and salsa (nice kick to it.) Serves all the classics. Atmosphere is a little sterile but overall decent especially for the price.
