Blackfoot river brewing is a really really nice place. They have a very large, super friendly taproom with dozens of tables that are commonly shared between whoever shows up. The customers (and the taproom girls) are very kind and fun to hang out with. And the BEER! Oh my gosh, the beer is out of this world. Youll wonder what youve been drinking all these years. Blackfoot beer is bar none some of the best beer you can find on this side of the globe. There is also a nice balcony outside, and all you can eat free popcorn. It is a family friendly establishment, kids are invited, but asked to stay at the table with their parents(no running around). There is no smoking, and no food. However, Millers & karmadillos right next door offer some super tasty eats. Drop on by if you are in the neighborhood...you wont regret it!!

Good beer, taproom is still the best in town even after Lewis and Clarks new million dollar place. Only complain is that it is often very crowded and if you arent there by 5, good luck finding a seat. "Older" crowd generally, 30s and up. Good variety of beer, and they do a good job of rotating taps.

Free popcorn, and great beer, what could be better? There beer is actually really good, just know the law in Montana is, that you cant drink more than a certain amount of beer in a tasting room, so dont get upset if they dont serve you, and plan accordingly.

Absolutely amazing service and beer. Wonderful quality and staff that take care of you regardless of how packed and busy the place is. Super friendly atmosphere. People share tables and share stories. Wonderful experience.

Good as the beer is and it is great, I have found the congeniality of the servers is even better. Never been to a better place to drink a great beer coupled with one that is intent on an enjoyable experience.

I dont live in Helena but this was easily my favorite place when I was visiting. Cute balcony and a selection of beer for everyones palate. The staff was friendly and quick. Definitely worth checking out.

Beer here is very good. Great people and atmosphere. Use the upper patio in the summer. One thing to note though.. no food.. Its a brewhouse only. I say 5 stars.
